Family owned and operated S&W Tree Specialists provides services including tree trimming, plant health care, lawn treatment and mowing. (L to R): Dale Hughes, Leilani Hughes, Bryan Merseburgh and Raymond Bearpaw.
Family owned and managed S&W Tree Specialists operates throughout northeastern Oklahoma and provides services including tree care, plant health care, property maintenance, tree pruning, turf and lawn care, and emergency storm services to businesses and homeowners. Primary owners are Dale Hughes, operation supervisor; Bryan Merseburgh, lawn care/plant health care supervisor; Robby Mizumura, tree crews and plant health care supervisor; and Leilani Hughes, office manager. A certified and trained arborist and tree care safety professional is always available to provide information concerning your trees, plants or lawns. Estimates for all services are free with no obligation.
Leilani says, “Area residents are really focused on making their outdoor home an enjoyable living space. It’s really like remodeling any area inside your home – only outside.” With fall just around the corner, a time when Okies enjoy spending more time outdoors with the beautiful weather fall brings, now is a great time to consider “remodeling” your backyard living space. “We can help make it beautiful, a safe haven for your kids to play and a place in which the entire family will enjoy spending time,” said Leilani.
“We haven’t had any major storms this year, and most folks in northeastern Oklahoma haven’t paid much attention to their trees,” said Bryan. “Beware – you could have dead limbs that are just waiting to be blown down and cause property damage or even personal injury. Be safe, not sorry, and get them checked.” Clearing unwanted limbs from trees is a dangerous undertaking, and Bryan cautions do-it-yourselfers to please get it done by a trained tree specialist.
“S&W Tree Specialists is fully insured and fully covered, including workers comp. And you, as a customer, are covered as well,” said Leilani. All employees are screened prior to hiring and all are employed by S&W. “We don’t contract labor,” said Dale. “You want to make sure, prior to contracting with an individual or company, that they are fully insured and that you will not be held liable for any accident that might occur on the job at your home or business.”
If you are interested in scheduling lawn services for this coming spring, now is the time to do it. Don’t wait until the last minute when schedules are full. Bryan will meet you for a free estimate to perform the services you desire. Bryan reminds us that October and November is the optimum time to fertilize trees and shrubs. S&W will be in their booth at the Tulsa State Fair from September 25 through October 5 in the MIO Building and invite you to stop by, meet the family face-to-face, and get your questions answered.
S&W also specializes in the installation of Christmas lights. Again, now is the time to schedule a meeting with Bryan for a no obligation quote and to get your lights ordered so they can be on before Thanksgiving.
