The Signature Interiors team is ecstatic about their local reality TV show, “Signature Style,” debuting this month on Cox channel 3.

Signature Interiors has already established itself as one of the hottest trendsetting stores in south Tulsa. And now store owner Debbie Hunter, along with her expert interior and floral designers, is taking it to the next level – reality television.

Signature Interiors and Youngblood Productions are presenting a new lifestyle reality television show. “Signature Style” debuted April 1 on local Cox channel 3. The show will air Saturdays at 10 a.m., with replays on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. They will air the same episode all four weekends of April to get viewers introduced to the show.

Lifestyle reality shows are booming in popularity. Cox Media has discovered through its marketing research that viewers greatly enjoy this type of show, but are often unhappy with the programs because they are not localized. Debbie Hunter and Cox Media collaborated to help solve that problem for Tulsa viewers, and “Signature Style” was born.

The show is half an hour long and features two main segments. The first focuses on real projects that happen at Signature Interiors. You will be able to go behind the scenes of many of their interior design projects and get to know the clients and designers. This segment helps viewers learn the ins of outs of decorating and provides great tips on furniture layout, traffic flow, coloring, and how they all work together to create a beautiful result.

The second main segment captures on film the entire process of planning, designing, and building Debbie Hunter’s new home. “The house will be an all-green home built from SIPS, or structural insulated panels, made from recycled materials,” explains Debbie. Debbie’s home will have numerous other energy-saving features, and she hopes the show will encourage other Tulsans to “go green” with their homes.

Episodes will also feature floral, cooking, craft and gardening segments. The creative floral designers at Signature Interiors will show you how to make easy yet stunning floral arrangements. Debbie will share some of her cooking secrets alongside many of Tulsa’s chefs and celebrities, who will stop by to share their favorite recipes. Local viewers and business owners will also be featured on the show to share interesting gardening and craft ideas. And, a segment called “Signature Secrets” will show you how to use common household products to fix a variety of problems.

Signature Interior’s website, www.tulsasignaturedesigns.com, provides an abundance of resources for those building their own homes or working with a builder. The site also includes recipes, floral design tips, craft how-tos, and links to other useful sites.

Debbie Hunter has a degree in interior design from Oklahoma State University. She worked in Chicago for thirteen years and has been in Tulsa for the past eleven years. Her interior designs have been featured in “Better Homes and Gardens: Windows and Walls” and the Chicago Tribune. In addition, she hosted a decorating segment of “Tulsa Homescapes” on local channel 6.

Debbie’s showroom at Signature Interiors is 10,000 square feet and features a wide array of fine furniture, accessories and design ideas. Her staff includes an impressive group of experienced floral and interior designers. Signature’s design experts can provide their customers with creative, individually-tailored décor styles. “We’re all about making the right decorating decisions,” says Debbie. “And it’s easy – just bring in pictures of your rooms.”

Come on in to Signature Interiors and visit with Debbie and her innovative, knowledgeable staff. The showroom is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. except for Thursdays, when the store stays open until 8 p.m. And don’t forget to check out “Signature Style” on Cox channel 3 to pick up some great information.
