“My father was a plumber and I started working for him before I graduated high school,” says Dustin Mitchell, owner of Half Moon Plumbing. “I wanted to own my own business and incorporate my own philosophy and values.” Mitchell’s business represents a continuation of his family’s trade and a commitment to his core principles, and his community has responded positively to his contributions.
For the first time this year, the family-owned business will have a booth at the Rogers County Home and Garden Farm and Ranch Show, which runs March 21 through 23 at the Claremore Expo Center. The show’s theme is “Improve Yours.” Mitchell has taken the theme to heart, and will be having a giveaway for a Navien tankless water heater. “Navien has designed their water heaters to be compatible with existing systems, making installations much easier.” Such an upgrade to your plumbing system will improve energy efficiency and ensure your showers do not give you the cold shoulder.
Mitchell keeps up with trends in plumbing innovation, and easily explains nuances to customers. He grew up watching his dad work before joining him in high school, and soon after graduating Mitchell earned his contracting and master plumbing licenses in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Mitchell strives to incorporate his personal values into his business, and it shows. His mission – “to provide plumbing excellence through manners, methods and materials” – is a refreshing declaration of thoroughness. Half Moon prides itself on delivering “plumbing with a purpose,” and adheres to several core values unique to the company. The first is to work as unto the Lord. Next is to be a blessing, and not a burden, to customers. Another is to be without excuse in failure. A fourth core value is to provide charity to those without means. Finally, the business remembers always that to whom much is given, much is required. With so much attention devoted to hard work and building quality relationships, it is no wonder Half Moon Plumbing has been successful since opening in 2007.
The team at Half Moon Plumbing serves residential and commercial plumbing needs throughout the Owasso and Claremore area. They always do their best to minimize time spent in the house. Half Moon trucks are huge and full of supplies to increase effeciency, and they are prepared to handle a wide range of plumbing issues.
Services include repair and maintenance of plumbing systems, as well as upgrades. Whether a customer needs a simple fix to an existing system or a major replacement during a remodel, Half Moon will deliver the excellent service you deserve. Their reputation speaks for itself and suggests they are  polite and professional, and provide the type of polished craftsmanship the commercial properties demand. Do an online search of plumbers in Owasso or Claremore and check out their reviews.  Some of the large-scale commercial clients Half Moon has provided services for include Olive Garden, Genghis Grill and DaVita Dialysis Center.
With strong core values and a commitment to excellent service and materials, Half Moon Plumbing is among the leaders in plumbing services in the area. Be sure to stop by their booth at the Rogers County Home and Garden Farm and Ranch Show, and enter for your chance to win a tankless water heater.
