Perhaps you are one of the lucky ladies whose love of her life proposed over the holiday season. Whether you are newly engaged or have been planning your wedding for a while, mark your calendar for January 7, 2012 to attend The Tulsa Wedding Show, Oklahoma’s premiere bridal fair featuring over 120 exhibitors. With this much concentrated exposure to all that Tulsa has to offer, you can literally “plan your day in a day!”

Does your wedding seem like a big, overwhelming puzzle? All the pieces will start connecting when you come to The Tulsa Wedding Show, where you can talk directly with the people that can make your wedding happen. You can set up a consultation or book your date right on the show floor. If you need to research your options, just take a walk around. Taste the cakes, sample the catering, hold the bouquets, watch a video of honeymoon destinations, listen to the wedding deejays, and pore over the photographers’ albums. Feast your eyes on all the wedding fashions, see all the latest trends in décor and invitations, and find out how an event planner can help. Before you know it, your wedding planning puzzle will become the beautiful picture of your event of a lifetime.

On the show floor of the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center, you will find national department stores right next to local artisans, all ready to meet your needs, whether merchandise or services. Tickets are $12 at the door, or $10 if purchased online at www.thetulsaweddingshow.com. Ordering tickets online and registering as a bride or groom will also give you an extra shot at winning door prizes.

The elegant fashion shows will allow attendees to view the latest bridal fashions. Each of the fashion shows is a unique showcase of dresses, veils, footwear, bouquets and tuxedos. You’ll see all the new trends in wedding fashion up close and personal.

After each fashion show, The Tulsa Wedding Show will give away one prize package. These prizes are provided by the show’s exhibitors and may include photography, flowers, wedding cakes, spa treatments, video services and so much more; expect to see some enviable items going out to a handful of lucky brides and grooms.

If you consider yourself a Very Important Bride (VIB), make plans to attend The Tulsa Wedding Show’s exclusive limited-seating Elite Preview Event. Picture you and your fiancé, or perhaps mother and bridesmaids, arriving at the front door of the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel, being valet parked, whisked through the line, getting private, first-look access to the exhibit hall, being treated to a fabulous champagne brunch, receiving an exclusive gift bag, and being privy to the newest wedding trends with a talk by wedding planner extraordinaire Jeffrey Horn. It’s the ultimate wedding planning experience! Plus, you may be the VIB that wins a private consultation with Jeffrey Horn.

A nationally recognized wedding designer, Jeffrey Horn has been the creative force behind elegant nuptials for almost 20 years. He has created wedding celebrations for celebrities in Aspen, New York and Los Angeles, as well as high-profile functions for royals and presidents. With clients such as Armani, Conde Nast Publications and Chanel in his speed dial, Jeffrey has the inside on trend and what is “haute.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of creating amazing weddings for beautiful brides around the world. My trend talk will bring you the latest in wedding trends in culinary, fashion, event décor, florals  and more, helping to create the wedding of your dreams and exceeding all expectations. When guests leave your wedding they’re going to say, ‘That was beautiful,’” says Jeffrey. “Be clever. Use some tricks of the trade to get the wedding of your dreams with the budget you have to work with.”
