Co-owners Paula and Steve Dibbins of Fitness Together in Owasso.

Steve and Paula Dibbins are co-owners of Fitness Together in Owasso. According to Paula, “Statistics show that 35 percent of us who make New Year’s resolutions have broken them by the end of January, and losing weight and eating healthier are always at the top of our list of good intentions.”

The mission of Fitness Together is to provide clients with one-on-one private personal fitness training of the highest quality. If you admit to making fitness-related resolutions each year and never sticking with them, you may find it enlightening to schedule a free consultation with Steve or Paula to discuss a realistic and attainable fitness goal. If you mutually agree upon a goal and you are personally ready to make the commitment, you will be assigned a personal trainer, who will do a complete fitness assessment and tailor a personal plan to help you attain your goal.

Steve says that most people set too many goals, most of which are unrealistic. “It’s important that you don’t overwhelm yourself. We will help you set one realistic goal that is vitally important to you.” Fitness Together never sets a client up for failure.

Your personal trainer will work with you side-by-side from start to finish. “We know it’s not going to be easy,” says Steve, “but it makes a difference when you know we’re going to help you succeed.” Each of your workout sessions will be in your own private exercise room with your own trainer, and you’ll never feel intimidated at the gym again. Your personal trainer will show you how to correctly perform each exercise, explain its benefits, and keep you accountable. Steve and Paula want you to feel good about yourself and your accomplishments – that’s the atmosphere at Fitness Together.

Keely Kish of Fitness Together offers private one-on-one Pilates fitness training as part of the total program tailored for each client.

Steve, Paula and their team of personal trainers are always working to bring new and exciting programs and training techniques to Fitness Together. Keely Kish is Pilates certified with 15 years of experience. She frequently includes Pilates exercises in the personal programs she tailors for clients. Bethany Little is a kickboxing instructor, and she incorporates training techniques used by kickboxers into her clients’ tailored sessions. These techniques focus on cardio benefits plus stability and strength.

Fitness Together offers all types of sports-specific training, as well as a Nutrition Together program. Nutrition Together is an online accountability program that enables the trainer to do further assessments of each client’s progress and conditioning by factoring in daily caloric intake with the amount and value of exercises done. It’s a great daily recap of cardio and nutrition.

If you invest in a personally tailored program at Fitness Together and, for one reason or another, find that you must drop out of training, the investment you’ve made will always be there waiting for you to come back and pick up where you left off. As Paula says, “You get do-overs with Fitness Together. We want you to finish what you’ve started. We want you to succeed by reaching your goal.”

Fitness Together has a private workout room waiting just for you. They want to help you succeed in reaching your fitness goal for 2010 and promise to be with you throughout your journey.
