Co-Owner Bruce Durden, Future Employee Erik Durden, General Manager William Allen, and Co-Owner George Lamb welcome you to the new Papa John\'s in Claremore.
Getting a delicious pizza in Claremore just got a little easier. There is now a Papa John’s Pizza at 900 W. Will Rogers Blvd., designed with the busy person in mind. Operating partner Bruce Durden says he is proud of the Claremore store because it is the only one he co-owns that has a drive-through window. You can order and pay online, or call in or text message your order, then swing by to pick it up after work or after class at nearby Rogers State University. And there is always the option to have it delivered in the colorful Papa John's truck.
The other three stores Durden co-owns and oversees, with partner George Lamb, are in Sand Springs, Sapulpa and Bartlesville. Two other partners, Jeff Hux and Alex Hanna, are located in Atlanta. Call it fate, coincidence, or simply a love of pizza, but three of the four men began their careers as pizza delivery drivers while in college.
The Papa John's locations offer a mouth-watering selection of pizza: The Works, The Meats, Garden Fresh, BBQ Chicken & Bacon, and Hawaiian BBQ Chicken. Each pizza order includes a cup of garlic butter and a pepperoncini pepper. Side dishes available include breadsticks, chicken strips, wings, cinnamon pie, sweetsticks and various dipping sauces.
Durden and Lamb emphasize the freshness of Papa John's ingredients. Vegetables are chopped daily, while they’re crisp and flavorful. The dough is never frozen. And the all-natural sauce is made from vine-ripened tomatoes that are packed almost immediately after harvesting.
Durden wants everyone in Claremore to know that their new neighbor is here to be a part of the community. "We want to give back and help Claremore however we can, in addition to providing a tasty lunch or dinner option to the area's residents."
Papa John’s offers discounts to church groups, nonprofits and schools. Special fundraisers are available, too. Organizations can sell pizza cards for $5; each card includes a free pizza coupon and numerous discounts. The participating group keeps $4 from each card and pays Papa John’s $1. Unlike candy or other fundraising merchandise, no up-front money is required.
This summer the Papa John's parking lot, located in the heart of Claremore, will be available for weekend car washes. Interested parties can call now to reserve a day. Also coming in the near future is a special express lunch. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, you’ll be able to drive through and pick up a small 10" pizza and a 12-ounce soda for $5. There will be a special selection of pizzas, available immediately without advance ordering.
Papa John’s accepts all major credit and debit cards. Catering is available, too, with a special menu accessible online. Call for more information or for help in determining quantities.
Papa John’s hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight.
