Whether your furry family member is a humble house pet or best in show, Beth’s Pawfection Dog Grooming has you covered, nail to tail.
Established two and half years ago, the business has a great location at 2208 S. Hwy. 66 in Claremore, just behind OklaHomes Realty. Business hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and appointments are encouraged. It is a convenient stop along the highway, and tucked far enough away from the road to ensure pets will not get spooked by traffic. A nice field adjacent to her building serves as a great spot for owners to walk their dog to blow off some energy or take a potty break.
“We pride ourselves on keeping the pets safe and calm,” explains owner Beth Holmes. “One of my main concerns is making sure the pets are comfortable and happy as we work with them.”
Beth offers a full array of services for cats and dogs of any size. In addition to basic baths and grooming, services include skin treatments, flea shampoo, Furminator de-shedding treatment, teeth brushing, anal gland expressing, nail clipping and filing, and even nail painting or caps.
Beth and her staff prefer to see your pets by appointment, but she will take a walk-in if time permits. Clients can call to make reservations or visit her website, which features a user-friendly contact form. Scheduling a visit in advance enables Beth and her staff to work more efficiently and ensure the facility remains calm for the wellbeing of the animals. Efficient scheduling also means that she and her staff can devote more attention to your pet’s care.
“Some animals get anxious, so we do everything we can to help them relax,” says Beth. There is even a TV in the dog waiting area, which plays cartoons to help soothe the dogs. Since most grooming appointments last two to three hours, clients can depend on a well-timed turn-around to give them just enough time for shopping or running errands. However, clients are welcome to leave their pet all day, if needed, and pick him or her up after work.
Beth’s attention to detail and care for your pets does not stop there. Features like a walk-in tub and an electric table that lowers and raises are especially helpful for large breeds or dogs with injuries or who are getting older. Animals always get a thorough bath and are well-dried – even their ears. Each pet walks out with a cute bandana or bow as a finishing touch.
