There are lots of hams available, but only The Hamlet features the exclusive honey cured, spiral sliced, honey-kissed™ ham that has been a Tulsa tradition since 1986. Often imitated, but never duplicated, The Hamlet hams are simply the real thing! Each ham looks as good as it tastes, and is always a big hit at holiday meals and parties.

New owner Shannon Hester, who along with her husband, Bryan, took over the three stores in October, is pleased to greet the many customers who have made The Hamlet a part of their holiday traditions. Shannon may be a new owner, but she is a pro when it comes to The Hamlet honey-kissed hams. She got her experience working for her father, Gordon Pendergraft, when he owned the business in the mid-90s.

“Our hams have a reputation for being the best,” she says. And she assures that nothing will change. “We use only the finest honey-cured hams specially prepared for The Hamlet,” explains Shannon. “We then spiral slice and fire-glaze each ham with a recipe of honey and imported spices.” The results keep people coming back year after year. She urges customers to place their orders early. “Call us as soon as you know how many people you will be serving,” she says. “That way you will be sure to get exactly what you want.”

The Hamlet also offers whole smoked turkeys or boneless spiral sliced all-white meat honey-kissed turkey breasts. Hams range from 6 to 18 pounds; whole smoked turkeys from 10 to 14 pounds. The Hamlet hams and turkeys make great corporate gifts for employees and clients. Corporate discounts are offered for quantity purchases. All the meats can be shipped anywhere in the United States or delivered locally. Shannon would be happy to discuss all options.

Gift baskets, too, are good choices. Baskets, starting at $45, come with or without hams. They can be made from pre-selected themes or custom-made to suit a particular individual. Gift cards are also popular for both individuals and businesses. They are available in any amount, so happy recipients can choose a ham, turkey or whatever else they want.

All three stores – 71st and Trenton, 91st and Sheridan, and Smith Farm Marketplace in Owasso – feature a tempting selection of Stonewall Kitchen and Robert Rothschild products, as well as their private label specialties. There are products to satisfy everything from sophisticated gourmet tastes to country kitchen comfort cooking.

One of the biggest favorites for serving or gift giving is The Hamlet Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce. “It’s a quick, easy and delicious hors d’oeuvre over cream cheese. Or it’s great to flavor meats,” Shannon explains. “Everyone loves it because it is so versatile.”

A full lunch menu is offered at the 91st and Sheridan and Smith Farm Marketplace locations. Besides The Hamlet honey-kissed ham and turkey, they feature a variety of Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. These same menu items can be picked up in a party tray.

When you want only the best for family and guests, get a honey-kissed ham from the Hamlet. Call The Hamlet today to place all your holiday orders for home or business. Or to save time and place your order online at www.hamlethams.com. Be sure to ask about the special dessert items to top off a great meal. Holiday hours Christmas week are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
