When it comes to health and well-being, most people want to find a professional that can provide personalized, mindful and insightful care. John Chatzigiannidis (D.O.M.P., C.PED., A.C.M.T) has been providing this kind of comprehensive care to his patients for almost 20 years, as owner and practitioner at Restoring Body Health & Feet Unlimited, Inc., with expansion to include head to toe wellness as Restoring Body Health. His sole mission is to help his patients, “Move Better, Feel Better and Live Better.”

Feet Unlimited Inc. and Restoring Body Health is located in the Warren Medical Building at 6465 South Yale Ave., Suite #608, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

John is a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner and a Certified Pedorthist and his work specializes in manual osteopathic manipulation, custom made orthotics, ankle-foot orthotics, Therapeutic Diabetic Shoes and Low-level light therapy, just to mention a few.

His patient-focused environment fosters open communication, cooperation, innovation, respect and compassion. John originally began practicing Surgical Chiropody (Podiatry) in Johannesburg, South Africa, before moving to the United States in 1999. After graduating from OSU in 2000 John became a Certified Pedorthist in the US.

Office Manager, Dixie Spears, is John’s right hand, and also a patient. Dixie has found relief with manipulation and laser therapy for her lower back and her hands.

John and his wife Elizabeth became United States Citizens in 2017.

John has had the pleasure of working with local universities, primary care physicians, Podiatrists and physical therapists. John has taken care of their patients, 6-month olds to over a 100 years old and everything in between.

His practice currently offers customized orthotics that he fabricates himself.

John works with many children as well as elderly patients with stability issues, or problems walking on their own. For patients who are at risk for falling when standing or walking, he confidently issues the “Moore Balanced Brace”. The brace allows forward and side-to-side movement while giving back lost stability and confidence to the wearer. The device greatly eliminates the risk of falling and is extremely lightweight for wear. “It is the best Durable Medical Device, on the market,” John said. “It’s been very successful in helping our geriatric patients in their walking and stability.” The practice also specializes in Therapeutic Diabetic Shoes for their Diabetic patients. Fashionable options are available in an array of styles and colors, with key features required for progressive diabetes, including severe issues with Diabetic Neuropathy and poor circulation. Most diabetic patients may qualify for the therapeutic diabetic shoes by Medicare, but must be under comprehensive diabetic care by their primary care doctor. John’s practice gives his patients the added benefit of total wellness, by providing manual osteopathic manipulation. The goal of the treatment is to improve the body’s structure, enabling the body to function at a higher level of health. Manual osteopathic manipulation therapy usually lasts an hour to an hour and a half. “I treat the patient, not the clock,“ said John. “No problem is too small or too big.” Manual osteopathic manipulation is multifaceted and multilevel, in that patients undergo evaluation. “We provide a postural study or screening as well, to see where the problems are manifested.”

Low-level light therapy or photobiomodulation, a healthier and safer alternative for pain management is attainable as an intelligent and viable option.

“For injuries, it gives the healing environment for the body to do what it’s supposed to.” The Low level light therapy is FDA approved and is the same cutting edge technology used by professional NFL athletes.

“Most people come to me because they are in some sort of pain,” said John.

“The patients needs dictate the treatment plan but ultimately, I want to help people live their best life!”
