Usher in the holidays in Pawhuska with dancing, rodeo excitement, a parade, and shopping! This popularized Oklahoma town, recently brought to worldwide attention from the film “Killers of the Flower Moon”, is the setting of extraordinary history and flavor.
During your visit, a must stop is Weigants Pharmacy authentic 1950’s soda fountain. Effie and Allie mix up delectable drink treats sure to please everyone. Their list of tasty, sweet drinks is practically limitless. From malts and shakes, exotic lemonades and phosphates, to T-3 coffee drinks and cocoa…you will love this family experience! It’s intriguing to watch your cold brewed coffee made from their “coffee still.”

Weigants Pharmacy, located at 714 Kihekah Ave, Pawhuska, Oklahoma, was started in 1979 by Jim and Ellen Weigants. Gavin and Lindsay Gatrell purchased the pharmacy in 2021 and have since upheld its reputation for offering pharmacy services patients can always count on. From the time they took over, they have implemented innovative approaches to service, including making it more accessible to patients in a wide variety of channels; in-person, through the telephone, and online through their website. “Our mission is to provide safe, high-quality patient care while exhibiting the highest level of professionalism and respect for our patients,” said Lindsay. The Gatrell’s have breathed new life into the business by expanding its offerings to include their family-friendly 1950’s soda fountain and unique gifts.
The menu at this pharmacy and scoop-shop is affordable and fun. Some of the all-time most ordered items include chocolate malts, prickly pear lemonade, floats, and cherry phosphates.
