The dentists of Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry, Angie Nauman, Lori Hare and Billie Reeder, offer the latest treatments for healthy, dazzling teeth.

Good teeth and a great smile can make a world of difference for a person’s self-confidence. For those who are self-conscious about their teeth, there is a myriad of options available. Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry in Tulsa and Claremore is leading the way with the most cutting edge teeth-whitening techniques.

The hottest new service from Healthy Smiles is low-sensitivity Deep Bleaching. The Deep Bleaching technique was developed by Dr. Rod Kurthy, who modified and combined several techniques to create what is widely considered to be the most effective teeth-whitening process available. In conjunction with AcquaMed Technologies, the combined techniques deliver a high level of bleaching without the levels of sensitivity and pain so many people experience with other bleaching gels.

Every person’s teeth have a natural biologic limit to how white they can be bleached. The Deep Bleaching process extends this limit, allowing significantly more whitening in just three appointments. The entire process takes two to four weeks. The Deep Bleaching technique can also make teeth significantly whiter than can other procedures.

Deep Bleaching can especially help patients who were previously unable to achieve their desired degree of whiteness because of bleaching-resistant teeth or acute sensitivity. “Everybody who does it looks really good,” says Laura Clark, Healthy Smiles’ office manager.

The Deep Bleaching process starts with a trip to Healthy Smiles, where teeth are conditioned to absorb oxygen more readily from the bleaching gel. Following this step, patients wear custom-made, at-home bleaching trays for 14 consecutive nights. Patients then return to the office for a final Deep Bleaching procedure. The results are outstanding.

Most patients find the thin, flexible, at-home bleaching trays to be comfortable to wear and sleep with. The Deep Bleaching trays seal at the gum line to keep the bleach in place, providing greater whitening power. The gel used in this procedure will not damage teeth or restorations.

Following the series of Deep Bleaching treatments, patients will want to keep their teeth dazzling white. All natural teeth darken over time. The dentists at Healthy Smiles recommend using low-abrasion toothpaste to avoid wearing away teeth’s natural protective surface.

Aside from Deep Bleaching, Healthy Smiles offers many other services to help the appearance of anyone’s teeth. The office features the Zoom laser teeth-whitening system, which was made popular on ABC’s Extreme Makeover. The procedure is done in the office in about two hours. Invisalign, also available, uses clear, invisible braces to help patients acquire straighter teeth. Then there are Lumineers, pain-free veneers that require no drilling, shots or removal of sensitive tooth structure. Healthy Smiles even offers medical micropigmentation treatments, commonly referred to as permanent makeup, as well as many other cosmetic and restorative services.

Healthy Smiles is flexible with payment arrangements. “We do some financing and some zero-percent financing,” says Clark. “We’ll work with anyone’s insurance. We’ll help you achieve your desired look.”
