When it comes to concrete, many homeowners and contractors face a recurring challenge – most concrete companies require minimum load orders, and often these requirements are much larger than what is needed. That’s where Lite Load Concrete, LLC comes into play. Lite Load is a family owned and operated company. Owner Dana Huntley opened the business in February of this year, after his friend Darren McElhaney came to him with the idea to start a company that offers smaller loads of concrete. Darren has an extensive background in the concrete industry and works as a salesman at Lite Load. Kyle Huntley, Dana’s son, is an employee of Lite Load, and his wife, Vicki, operates the business office.

“There are a lot of contractors and homeowners that don’t need six or eight yards of concrete for projects,” Dana points out. Minimum load requirements put many in a difficult situation. At that point, you either eat the cost of unused concrete, or you start considering mixing the concrete yourself. Neither choice is acceptable for a lot of people.

A Redi Mix company, Lite Load provides the same high-quality concrete that larger companies provide, just on a smaller scale. The key to their success is in the size of their concrete trucks, which carry two yard batches. Smaller batches and smaller trucks mean more flexibility for projects – and, most importantly, no minimum orders. They can maneuver their trucks to easily fit just about anywhere a standard truck can park.          Additionally, they offer services seven days a week. Orders can usually be delivered the same day – even on Sunday. Because all team members have worked as contractors previously, they are especially in tune with the needs of contractors. “For contractors, time is money. We know this. We strive to help contractors meet their project timelines,” says Dana.

Landscapers, plumbers and contractors will all find a willing and helpful partner with Lite Load Concrete. The company can provide plenty of information and options to suit any project. Darren adds, “We offer more than 300 colors, and this helps contractors provide exactly what their clients want.” Whether the project is a simple countertop, driveway, foundation or something more involved, they provide exactly what you need, and where and when you need it. Lite Load can also provide information and advice for customers of all skill and knowledge levels, from seasoned contractor to the rookie do-it-yourselfer.

Whether you’re a professional in need of a quick batch in that hard-to-reach spot, or a homeowner considering an extreme makeover for your home, Lite Load Concrete wants to make your project a success. Conveniently located in Tulsa, off I-244, Lite Load can help you meet your timeline, budget and vision.
