Robert W. (Bob) Clark is an independent contractor specializing in life and health insurance. Bob has many interesting stories from over the years, and has been in the insurance business since 1966.
Growing up in Henryetta, OK, Bob is a graduate of Henryetta High School and played football when the team was known as the Henryetta Fighting Hens. He served a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy and then worked for ONG as a meter reader to put himself through college at Oklahoma City University. Following four years of college, he was employed by Mene Grande Oil Company of Venezuela, and later served in the employ of Chaco Petroleum Company of Bolivia for three years. He began his insurance sales career in Houston, but returned to Oklahoma in 1966 to become the sales director for an insurance company. He joined Messer-Bowers Insurance in 1978 and began specializing in group life and health insurance. He serves both business and individual segments in his business.
Messer-Bowers was established in Enid in 1926. They have served Oklahoma and the mid-continent energy region for over 80 years with offices in Enid, Oklahoma City and Stillwater. They have been known as the energy industry’s insurance source for over 40 years. Today, they help individuals and businesses of all types by recommending high-value insurance packages from insurance companies that are rated only “A” or better by the A.M. Best Company, a global full-service credit rating agency dedicated to serving the financial and healthcare service industries since 1906.
As an independent insurance contractor, Bob does business with a number of life and health insurance companies. Messer-Bowers has a long-running business association with the brokerage firm of Insurance Designers, Inc., an independent full-service insurance group that has over 36 years of experience in helping clients navigate and manage insurance needs for their clients. It is a goal of Insurance Designers to recommend the most comprehensive coverage possible at the very best premium.
According to Bob, “Insurance Designers is a great resource for Messer-Bowers and for me personally. They represent the highest integrity, value and services available in our industry, and have revolutionized the insurance procurement process for individuals and businesses.” Bob says he is always assured that Insurance Designers has gone to the greatest detail prior to recommending any insurance option, and has made sure that all products they recommend are suitable to the needs of each client. No one likes surprises, and neither does Bob.
“Term life insurance is still one of the best insurance values around,” says Bob. Term life provides death protection for a stated time period, or “term,” and is possibly the simplest form of life insurance. It was originally developed to provide temporary life insurance protection for those operating on a limited budget. Term insurance can be purchased in large amounts for a relatively small initial premium and is well suited for short-range goals, such as providing extra life insurance protection during the child-raising years.
Whenever you or your company is in the market for life or health insurance, give Bob Clark a call. It costs you nothing for his experience and a recommendation that might save you money or improve the value of your insurance investment.
