The eighth annual women’s show, “Ladies Lifestyle Extravaganza,” is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 at the Claremore Expo Center. This year’s event will feature a full day of activities for ladies of all ages.

The Ladies Lifestyle Extravaganza is a day-long event featuring seminar topics that are sure to inform and educate. One of the highlighted panels for the day includes a breakfast seminar that will focus on breast health. Breakfast will be served compliments of Hillcrest Hospital Claremore for the first 100 ladies attending at 9 a.m. with the seminar scheduled for 9:30. Other seminars will concentrate on the importance of heart health, general wellness, and financial security for ladies of all ages.

The first 1,000 ladies attending will receive an eco-friendly shopping bag compliments of the Oklahoma Heart Institute. In addition, all attendees will receive a registration for the opportunity to win Ladies Lifestyle cash and gifts throughout the day.

Back by popular demand is the Lifestyle Fashion Show. Models of all ages will be wearing the latest spring fashions.   According to Cari and Susan of Nesting Necessities, “We are excited to be involved with this year’s fashion experience. We are going to showcase a great number of our unique Claremore boutiques and our area clothing retailers. Our very own Claremore firefighters are participating as runway escorts for the models during the fashion show as well.”

Claremore Dance Studios will return to the event to host dance demos for line dancing, salsa and more. Per Peggy Trease, this year’s event chair, “We had so much fun last year with David and Danielle of Claremore Dance Studios. They were able to inspire everyone in attendance to enjoy the benefits of dance as a fun way to exercise and as just a great way to socialize. These national dance champions made everyone feel at home with their fun demos.”

Literary aficionados will have the opportunity to meet and greet some of the region’s outstanding and widely recognized authors. Authors will do book signings throughout the day hosted by Boarding House Books. Cindy Bissett of Claremore Main Street said, “Last year was the first time to offer this particular show activity and it was so well received we are expanding the area this year.”

Recognized as one of the outstanding women’s events in the state, organizers expect Claremore’s show to attract an estimated 80 exhibitors with products ranging from health and beauty, jewelry, purses, clothing and accessories, home décor and much more.

The show also offers an excellent opportunity for attendees to gain access to a host of valuable resources, including Safenet Services. Presenting sponsor Hillcrest Hospital Claremore will have representatives on site to answer program questions and to provide free information. Major sponsor Walgreen’s will be on hand with pharmacy experts, blood pressure checks and more.

“Committee members are excited about the planned giveaways and drawing this year including cash, gifts and even a Coach handbag compliments of our event sponsors and Stonebrook Day Spa,” reports Peggy.

Tickets are only $4 or $2 with a non-perishable food item. Food will be donated to the Good Samaritan Ministry, to assist our neighbors in need all year long.

Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is pleased to present the Ladies Lifestyle Extravaganza along with sponsors RCB Bank and Walgreen’s.
