The Junior League of Tulsa (JLT) is creating a “scrumdiddlyumptious” night and hosting “JLT and The Trivia Factory,” a trivia event designed to test your trivia knowledge Oct. 4. The event is open to the public and will be held at JLT Headquarters at 3633 S. Yale Ave., Tulsa, OK, 74135.

“JLT and The Trivia Factory” is the latest project of the Junior League of Tulsa’s 2019 Provisional Class. Doors will open, and dinner will be available starting at 6 p.m. with a taco bar and cash bar available. Trivia will be held from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

“We are so excited to work with our new members to host an event that will be both fun and memorable. It’s a great way for them to make a big contribution in their first year as members,” said Ashley Whitby, JLT Provisional Chair.

Tickets are on sale now at www.jltulsa.org. Single tickets are $35 and include dinner and trivia. Tables of 10 are also available for $500 and will include dinner, trivia, unlimited beer and wine, koozies, mulligans and a personal server.

Proceeds from the event will support the League’s mission-based programs and community partnerships that work to end the cycle of poverty affecting women and children in Tulsa (e.g., Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Food on the Move, Hawthorne Elementary, Resonance Center for Women, Street School and Poetic Justice).

“Our members strive to build a better Tulsa, so our events are critical to helping us fund our community programs and training our members to become effective women leaders in our community,” said Jennifer Porter, JLT 2019-20 President. “When you support the Junior League of Tulsa, you support women who work for positive change in this city.”

The Junior League of Tulsa is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of Tulsa’s focus is ‘women and children in transition.’
