There is not enough room on this page to tell you everything you need to know about the excitingly beautiful Jaguar XF, a fusion of sports car and luxury sedan. According to advance Jaguar literature and magazine articles following the introduction of the XF at September’s Frankfurt Auto Show, the sporty sedan looks good in pictures, but will totally blow you away in person. According to one observer, “Pictures do the car no justice. And don’t get me wrong, it looks great in pictures.” Jaguar XF: the new Jaguar.

Borrowing descriptions from Jaguar’s own literature, the XF is the first sporting sedan to deliver Jaguar’s stunning new design language. It’s a bold new face that looks to the future, while at the same time reaffirming Jaguar’s sporting inheritance. It has a unique profile that is athletic and assertive plus the dramatic lines of a coupe enveloping a spacious cabin with four doors and seating for five adults. And driver-focused Jaguar engineering assures you will be totally captivated by the all-new Jaguar XF.

The XF is a striking Jaguar that descends from a long line of beautiful, fast cars. It is a long, low and wide automobile with more-than-ample muscle derived from its 4.2-litre V-8 that produces 300 hp @ 6000 rpm. An optional supercharged version produces 420 hp @ 6250 rpm.

The vehicle’s strong grille not only helps create its distinctive signature, it also emphasizes the vehicles broad, solid stance. A low nose and sweeping roofline add a visual dynamic that seems to promise high performance even when the XF is standing still. Detailing is exquisite and subtle from the woven mesh of the grille to the dramatically sculpted light clusters and large alloy wheels. Jaguar designers have created an automobile that sports a relaxed, confident and luxurious design that is supported by Jaguar’s outstanding ability, control and performance. The spacious interior is lavish with Jaguar craftsmanship and the use of exquisite materials and a relentless attention to detail.

Kelly Summers, Bob Hill, and Charlie Mackey of Jaguar of Tulsa eagerly discuss the “Cat of the Future” with the debut of the new Jaguar XF.

A 7 inch touch-screen controls most of the vehicle’s major functions like iPod® or MP3 player connectivity, automatic climate control system, and much more. Jaguar’s intelligent use of technology and driver-friendly touch-screen controls add new layers of comfort and are easy to use. Many features remain hidden until they are actually needed.

Jaguar knows that at the heart of a great car is a great engine. The XF’s 4.2 liter V8’s are compact and light, but big on performance and refinement. Both engines feature all-aluminum construction, variable camshaft phasing, four overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder. A six-speed automatic transmission enhances the car’s superb characteristics.

According to one observer, “The XF is the most unique Jaguar I’ve ever seen.” There’s only one way to fully satisfy your curiosity longing. Come and see it for yourself in mid-March at Jaguar of Tulsa.
