The way we do church needs to change. Charles Finney once said, “Our theaters are full because the world lies well. Our churches are empty because we tell the truth poorly.” And many times, the first impression anyone gets of a church comes from the praise and worship team and the technical staff (audio, video, and lighting).

A church can have an ­awesome praise and worship team, but if the audio staff can’t produce good sound quality, the worship experience can be ­lacking. By the same token, a church can have the best ­technical staff available, but if the praise and worship team is lacking in their skills, the ultimate goal of leading people into God’s presence can be hindered.

Amplify 2011, RHEMA’s worship and technology conference, brings together some of the top worship leaders and audio, lighting, and video ­companies in the nation.

Amplify will feature ­concerts, worship and technical workshops, question and answer sessions, and musical guests – all designed to help you take praise and worship to the next level.
