Healthy Smiles celebrates Dr. Lori Hare’s achievement.

Pursuing improvement indicates commitment to one’s profession. Being awarded as a result, distinguishes them among their peers.

Accordingly, Dr. Lori Hare of Healthy Smiles, in Claremore and Tulsa, is committed and distinguished among dental professionals. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) announces that she recently received the prestigious Fellowship Award.

The award was presented during a Convocation ceremony at the AGD’s Annual Meeting & Exposition, August 5th, in Denver. The Fellowship Award is granted to dentists seeking to provide high quality dental care by choosing to stay current in their profession.

Dr. Hare was honored upon completing 500 hours of continuing dental education. She was required to pass a comprehensive written exam and fulfill three years of ongoing membership with the AGD.

The AGD is a professional association of more than 35,000 general dentists. Each is dedicated to staying up-to-date in the profession.

Founded in 1952, this organization has grown to become the world’s second largest dental association. It’s the only association to exclusively represent the needs and interests of general dentists.

Receiving this great award places Dr. Hare among an elite group in her field. The Fellowship Award recognizes excellence in the dental profession, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Becoming a recipient means that Dr. Hare has made a commitment to offer her patients a better variety of diagnosis and treatment choices.”

Dr. Hare graduated from Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in 1993. She partnered with Dr. Billie Reeder to found Healthy Smiles, a general dentistry practice with offices in Claremore and Tulsa.

In addition to the AGD, Dr. Hare is a member of the American Dental Association, Tulsa County Dental Society, and the Rogers County Dental Society. As a general dentist, she, and Dr. Reeder, provide primary care for patients of all ages, and coordinate their general oral health services.

Healthy Smiles’ two metro locations are also home to the Green Country School of Dental Assisting. This hands-on, 12 week course provides cost-effective, after hours training.

The dental practice offers convenient hours. The Claremore location provides appointment opportunities five days a week (Monday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and the Tulsa office offers appointment opportunities four days a week (Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

Laura Clark is Office Manager at the Mid-town Tulsa location. Lora Gibson manages the Claremore office.

Clark says their practice stays current with dental procedures. “In addition to exceptional, general dental care, we feature the ever-popular bleaching trays.

“Another growing offering is ‘medical micro-pigmentation’, a process that applies permanent make-up. This service was recently added to our Claremore location.

“We encourage interested parties to contact either office to inquire about all our general dentistry procedures, and our specialty services. Our Doctors rotate between the two sites and patrons are always assured of the best dental treatment.”
