Owner Larry Lyster advises placing your holiday order now for a wonderful honey-kissed ham from The Hamlet.

Make your holiday meals extra special with a honey-kissed ham from The Hamlet. There are lots of hams available, but only The Hamlet features the exclusive spiral sliced honey-kissed ham that has been a Tulsa tradition since 1986. Each ham looks as good as it tastes and is always a big hit.

Larry Lyster, who along with son David owns all three local Hamlet locations – 71st & Trenton, 91st & Sheridan and Smith Farm Marketplace in Owasso – says to call in your order as soon as possible. “That way we can be sure to have the size ham you want,” he says. The same goes for The Hamlet’s whole smoked turkeys and boneless spiral sliced all white meat honey-kissed turkey breasts, too.

Save time and work, and order a complete holiday meal. Each meal serves eight to ten people and includes a Hamlet honey-kissed ham or smoked turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, Hamlet sage dressing, a vegetable of your choice, and dinner rolls. Dessert and other options are available.

The Hamlet can also take care of corporate celebrations and gifts. They offer a selection of 12 party trays for pickup or delivery, as well as a full catering menu.

Customized gift baskets are available locally or for shipment anywhere in the United States.

Hams, smoked turkeys, turkey breasts and gift baskets can be shipped anywhere in the United States. Prices start at about $25 for customized gift baskets with the products or theme of your choice. According to Larry, popular baskets include Barefoot Contessa mixes, Stonewall Kitchen products, Robert Rothschild products, and Oklahoma-made products. “These make wonderful hostess gifts,” he adds.

Gift cards, available in any amount, are also popular for individuals and businesses. “People can come in and choose whatever they want,” says Larry. There are also gift certificates for specific items. Choose the gift that everyone on your list will love – a honey-kissed ham in the distinctive gold wrapper – or anything else.

All three Hamlet locations carry a wide selection of gourmet foods and comfort foods, such as bread dippers, pickled asparagus, relishes, pickles, dips and mustards. Another big favorite for serving and giving is The Hamlet’s roasted raspberry chipotle sauce. “It’s such a versatile product,” Larry explains. “It’s an easy and delicious hors d’oeuvre over cream cheese, or it’s a great flavoring for meats.”

But why wait for the holidays to enjoy the wonderful food from The Hamlet? A full lunch menu is served at the 91st & Sheridan and Owasso locations, and the 71st & Trenton store offers an abbreviated menu. In addition to the honey-kissed ham and turkey, they offer a variety of Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, cold and grilled sandwiches, wraps, salads, ham and beans, chili, and soup.

Popular selections that keep customers coming back include the Original – Hamlet honey-kissed spiral cut ham grilled and topped with baby Swiss cheese, honey mustard, lettuce and tomato on wheatberry bread. Other favorites are the Sausalito, Fire and Ice, Turkey, and Blazin’ Buffalo Chicken Breast sandwiches.

“Our motto is: When you want only the best for family and guests, get a honey-kissed ham from the Hamlet,” says Larry. Call the Hamlet at (918) 496-2242 to place your holiday orders for home or business; corporate discounts are available. Or stop by any of the three locations. Holiday hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
