(L to R) Justin Murphy and Co-owner, David Lyster can assist you with your holiday meal and gift ideas.

Regardless of the reason, anniversaries are to be celebrated. Question: have you celebrated this year’s “Ham-i-versary”?

“The Hamlet has been around for 20 years. That’s why we’re celebrating what’s being called our ‘20th Ham-i-versary’,” says Co-owner, David Lyster.

Since purchasing this Tulsa based business in 2003 with his father, Larry Lyster, they have featured “Oklahoma’s Original Honey Kissed Ham”. The holiday season is prime-time for this delicious original.

The Hamlet is known for its tasty ham recipe. Ham takes center stage during the holiday season together with their smoked turkey, highlighting scrumptious main dishes on the dining room table or complementing cheese on seasonal party trays.

Each ham is spiral-sliced, bone in. The fully cooked product pulls right off the bone, and is pre-glazed with their special “honey-kissed” recipe so warming is all that is required.

Hams range in size individually from 6-8 lbs up to 16-18 lbs. Their staff is prepared to assist you according to your serving estimate.

If you want to serve a Christmas ham, now is the time to place your order. Many customers have already called ahead to reserve theirs.

“Three weeks before Christmas Day our phone order volume increases. Hams are available up to Christmas Eve and may be picked up at any of our locations,” Lyster reminds.

If you plan to leave town, make your reservation and your ham or turkey can be shipped anywhere. Give three days notice and your  order will be sent via two-day air.

Order and delivery is an excellent gift option for friends, family, or businesses. In-town delivery is available within a 25 mile radius for an extra charge.

Party Trays & Gift Baskets
The Hamlet’s appetizing party trays are created from a variety of meats and cheeses. Boars Head is their featured brand.

Choose from their large list of party platter selections including “finger sandwiches” or “meat and cheese tid-bits”. Trays are prepared in small, medium, and large sizes according to the number you plan to serve.

“Our party trays are great for office gatherings. Allow us a 24-hour lead time on your order and with our call-in program simply show up and it’s ready to go,” Lyster encourages.

Gift baskets are a unique gift idea. Those from The Hamlet are a one-of-a-kind option for those on your shopping list.

They feature baskets full of items from their supply of jams and jellies, sauces, meats, cheeses and breads. Speaking of bread, their fresh-baked white, wheat and jalapeno cheddar are excellent choices for a gift basket. Choose your own items from the stores, some excellent choices are Oklahoma-made products, and The Hamlet will gladly prepare the basket for you.

The Hamlet is a superb place to supply your holiday dining opportunities or gift ideas. It is also an excellent location to dine while you are shopping.

“What many have yet to discover is that you can drop-in and eat a freshly prepared sandwich at our 91st and Sheridan or Owasso location,” Lyster comments. A full menu features their signature ham, fresh-baked breads, home-made chips and side dishes.

The holidays are a great time to enjoy and share The Hamlet. You will discover why they have been celebrating “Ham-i-versaries” for 20 years.
