Scott Matlock, vice president of operations, invites you to the grand opening festivities during the month of July at the newly renovated All American 24 Hour Fitness at 91st & Aspen in Broken Arrow.

All American 24 Hour Fitness at 91st & Aspen in Broken Arrow is celebrating its grand opening after several months of remodeling and updating. The month-long celebration, sponsored by Coca-Cola, will include three special nights of fun, all free and open to the public. Family Night is July 16, Ladies Night is July 23 and the Great American Grand Opening Open House is July 30.

“We started remodeling last August, and now we’re finishing the final touches,” said owner Jim Benien. “It was difficult to keep the club open during renovations – we had to close certain areas, and it was challenging for us and the members. But throughout the project, everyone stayed positive because we knew we’d be getting a nice new club. And now the final product is even better than members had anticipated.”

The extensive project involved completely renovating the interior and exterior of the building, remodeling the locker rooms and adding brand-new sinks and countertops, and replacing cardio and strength-training equipment. All of the new cardio machines, including treadmills, stair steppers, ellipticals, crosstrainers and cycles, have private LCD television screens. The final phase entailed redoing flooring, and resurfacing and adding parking spaces. “We’re really excited to be bringing this project to a close. The exterior has a new fantastic look with large-scale fitness pictures that will make all of Broken Arrow proud. Our members are really appreciative of the finished product,” said Benien.

The grand opening festivities begin July 6 and last throughout the entire month. Those who stop by have the opportunity to enter drawings to win some incredible prizes: a Sharp AQUOS flat screen LCD HDTV, a Cozumel vacation for two including airfare, a Samsung Blu-Ray disc player, and a 54-inch Spalding portable basketball goal.

For a great night with the family, load up the kids and come to Family Night on Thursday, July 16 from 5 to 9 p.m. The evening will include free popcorn and candy, hot dogs provided by Reasor’s, a giant inflatable slide, a live radio broadcast by 97.5 KMOD, petting animals by Safari’s Sanctuary, and an appearance by the Tulsa Drillers mascot, Hornsby. The kids will have a blast – and so will the parents.

Ladies, gather up your girlfriends and plan to attend Ladies Night on Thursday, July 23 from 5 to 9 p.m. Attendees can learn about a variety of topics related to women, as well as receive some tasty treats. Susan G. Komen For the Cure and the American Diabetes Association will be on hand with information, and vendors will include Spirit, Soul, and Body Day Spa, Purse-A-Nality, Homemade Gourmet, Arbonne International, Cookie Lee Fine Fashion Jewelry, Scentsy Wickless Candles, Kwik Kar, El Chico, Chic-Fil-A and Chocolate Fountains of Tulsa.

The Great American Grand Opening Open House takes place all day Thursday, July 30. “It’s sure to be a great time!” said Executive Vice President Gary Reall. “We will have many vendors – local businesses really get involved – so bring everyone you know for a good time.” Enjoy free food and drinks from Monterey House, Qdoba, Buffalo Wild Wings, Texas Roadhouse, Pizza Hut and more. CJ Maloney’s and DJ Mikey from EDGE Sight and Sound will be there also.

All American 24 Hour Fitness offers ample new state-of-the-art cardio choices, the most advanced resistance equipment available, free weight training areas, a swimming pool, a hydrotherapy pool, dry heat saunas, group fitness classes, private tanning beds, racquetball courts, and a supervised kids’ zone. Personal training and senior programs are also available. Go online to www.allamericanfitness.net for more information about club amenities and other locations.

All American Fitness began as a racquetball facility in South Tulsa in 1976 and has evolved into a full-fledged fitness empire with four Tulsa metro locations and four Oklahoma City locations. In addition, All American Fitness has six 24/7 Xpress Clubs. “We stand out from other places because we operate locally and we’ve been doing this for 33 years; we know what it takes to keep our members happy,” said Benien.
