Arts@302, Broken Arrow’s new Creative Arts Center, is holding its Grand Opening event on Thursday, August 11th from 5pm to 8pm. This FREE family event will offer the community make-and-take art projects, group art activities, live music, food, and more. Take part in a paint-by-numbers mural, Gelli plate printmaking, making your own superhero masks, and free face painting. Clancy Gray, professional clay sculptor, will be doing a live clay demonstration. Other professional art demonstrations include wildlife painting, figure drawing, poetry, digital photography, as well as group singing and mallet instruments for the music classes. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the brand-new facilities including the 2000-square-foot art gallery, the painting and drawing studio, the clay and sculpture studio, and the beautiful outdoor studio.
