Donna Pepper, franchise owner of Just Between Friends in Owasso, invites you to be a shopper and a consignor at the JBF sale October 1 through 4.

Although the warmth of summer may still be upon us, it’s not too early to begin thinking about fall and winter needs. And with children, these needs can be expensive – unless you shop at the Just Between Friends sale in Owasso this October. From infant to adolescent, the JBF sale is a one-stop shop – a golden opportunity for shoppers and consignors alike.

Shoppers are able to enjoy the vast selection of items that would probably cost twice as much - or more - at the mall, without the mall traffic. “A sale such as this one has great impact because of the increasing tightening of the economy,” says franchise owner Donna Pepper. “Shoppers benefit because they can literally knock out a whole season’s worth of shopping needs for the children in one afternoon, without breaking the bank.”

“Being a consignor gives one a chance to clean house and earn money at the same time,” says Pepper. “Sellers keep 70 percent of their profit; they set the price and receive a check for one lump sum of total sales only two weeks later,” she says. “JBF offers advantages over your typical garage sale in that there are no worries about weather or advertising, and the prices are better than average.”

Just Between Friends has two sales events every year – one for fall and winter and the other for spring and summer, and they are highly anticipated.

“Not only do the sales carry just about everything for kids and expectant mothers – clothing sizes newborn to 14, toys, baby equipment, children’s furniture, books, baby swings, cribs, car seats, strollers and maternity clothes – but they also provide a huge opportunity for recycling,” says Pepper.

All clothing is divided into boys and girls, then into size as it would be in a store. Every clothing product is inspected to be sold as a gently used or nearly new item, so shoppers are guaranteed quality at a great price.

First-time parents can sign up to attend the pre-sale the evening before the main event by visiting the JBF website. All those who volunteer to work the sale also have the opportunity of shopping beforehand, a terrific trade-off for a few hours of helping. Volunteers will help out by straightening and keeping merchandise in order, removing tags, and greeting customers. Volunteers are able to sign up until just before the event dates.

The Just Between Friends sales event in Owasso will take place October 1 through 4. Times are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday ($2 admission fee Wednesday only), 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, during which a half-price sale will be held. The location of the sale is 9341 N. 129th E. Avenue in Owasso, right across from Home Depot.

Consignors have the choice of taking back their own unsold merchandise or donating it to charity. Cash, check, and most major credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. For more information on Just Between Friends, visit the website at www.jbfsale.com, or call Donna Pepper at (918) 637-1485.
