It’s hard to believe Thanksgiving has passed and it’s time to move on to Christmas. If you find yourself longing to slow down and create a beautiful environment for your Christmas events with family and friends, ­consider visiting Surceé Home Décor & Gifts.

Owner Laura Sanders has filled the store to the brim with everything you need to create a striking home year round, and the holidays are no exception. The store has been transformed into a winter wonderland, and you can find something special for every taste.

If you need some decorating inspiration, be sure to visit The Christmas Cottage during the special holiday home tour, exclusively for Surceé customers. The home, owned and decorated by Pam Holt, was one of the first built in Ator Heights in the mid-60s. Pam’s home is decorated with treasured collections of ­seasonal décor, creating vignettes ranging from vintage to modern with a mix of colors, textures and materials.

Wine and cheese will be served at the Open House on Friday evening, December 2 from 6 to 9 p.m., and cake balls and hot apple cider will welcome guests on the Saturday Open House, to be held December 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Surceé for $8 each, and a ­portion of the ­proceeds will go to the Owasso Community Resources Center.

Back at Surceé, ideas are plentiful with four themed trees that are decorated from tip-top to very bottom. One tree features a whimsical metal elf on top, peppermint candy garland, and a lighthearted variety of elves, old-fashioned toys, and brightly painted metal ornaments. A gold and silver theme tree sparkles with vintage-style glass ornaments featuring pastel Santas, reindeer and angels, along with glittering gold ­poinsettias, snowflakes, pinecones and bells. A third tree features the more muted color palette of taupe metal crosses and plaid ribbon décor with large metallic ball ­ornaments and subtle fabric poinsettias. A fourth tree goes all out traditional red and green with Santas, snowmen, bells and glittering ribbon.

Surceé carries the very ­popular line of The Round Top Collection decorations for ­outdoor use, including large Santas, reindeer, candy canes and more – add them to your outdoor space to greet your ­holiday guests.

Whether you are starting from scratch or looking for a few pieces to add to your existing collections, you are sure to catch the holiday spirit when you visit Surceé.
