Linda Butcher and Katherine Troglin can beautify your home for all of the upcoming holiday gatherings.
With summer fading into fall and the holidays approaching, thoughts turn to joyous holiday gatherings where friends and families meet to celebrate the most festive time of year. If your home is one of those traditional gathering places, now is the perfect time to start preparing for holiday guests – and the perfect time to invite Linda Butcher to help you turn your visions into reality. Whether you want to do one or several rooms or your entire home, Linda can help you from start to finish, with everything from simple accessories to paint to flooring to window treatments.
For Linda Butcher, no job is too big or too small. She has helped clients who only want to spruce up one room and clients who have suites of offices to be refurbished. She realizes that clients often have trouble envisioning what they really want for a room, office or home, so she spends time with them during a free, initial consultation in order to understand their sense of style and to discuss budget issues and the scope of the project.
If the client is ready to proceed, Linda will return with her assistant, sister-in-law and best friend, Katherine Troglin, to discuss color schemes, fabrics, furnishing and flooring choices, including carpeting, ceramic tile, wood, and custom area rugs. Whether you prefer traditional, rustic lodge, Native American, Old World, Western, French Country or tropical, Linda specializes in customized bedding and window treatments for almost any look imaginable, using wood blinds, plantation shutters and a plethora of fabric choices to make each room its own special oasis.
Linda especially has a heart for accessories – pictures, mirrors, floral arrangements and other decorative items – as they give each space its owner’s unique touch. One of the main pieces of advice she would give each client would be, “Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! Accessories are the icing on the cake.” She doesn’t believe a client has to discard all of their old accessories either; rather, she helps blend the old with the new, maintaining the things that are dear to the person’s heart while still adding a new vibrancy to the area. Rather than having the client shop for hours and make multiple trips back and forth to shops in order to find just the right item, Linda arrives at their home with her vehicle loaded with accessories for the client to choose from, her choices based on previous consultations. Women often tell her that accessorizing is their favorite part of the whole decorating process – and even if that is all Linda is hired to do, she doesn’t mind.
Linda’s enthusiasm for her work goes beyond individual projects. She loves to share her knowledge about trends in decorating and the latest products with local organizations, where she talks to visitors with her infectious enthusiasm. A door prize is always provided at these events; contact Linda for more information and dates when she will be available.
The holidays are a time of giving, making this a perfect time to give a friend or family member a surprise makeover for a room or rooms in their home. Linda can collaborate with family members to complete the project as a surprise, or a gift certificate could be perfect for someone who would want to be actively involved in the project. Budgets are a concern during the holidays as well, and Linda understands this completely. “Sometimes people are afraid to hire a decorator because they are afraid it will be out of their price range,” she says. “But I can actually work with them, decorating their home while staying within their budget.”
So whether you want to spruce up your home for holiday guests, give a great gift to someone you love, or even stage your home for sale, be sure to give Linda Butcher a call. “I love what I do,” says Linda. “I’m a real people person, and it is very fulfilling to see customers’ ideas come to life and to make them happy.”
