For teens just beginning to use cosmetics, either Lefler or Candace Spencer, beauty consultant, can customize skin care systems to reduce blemishes and compliment skin tones. “So many times girls will use an older sister’s or maybe a friend’s makeup when they begin using cosmetics,” Lefler says. “The result is often unflattering due to a difference in skin tones or individual features. We want girls to learn how to find their own look right from the start and take proper care of their skin.”
Many local Merle Norman customers have used the cosmetic line for decades. “You can really tell a difference in those who have treated their skin well throughout their lives and those who have not,” Lefler mentions. “We have ladies come in who are in their 70’s and have the most beautiful complexions. They have been loyal users of Merle Norman Cosmetics since they were young, and they have guided their daughters and granddaughters to our products, as well. It’s really neat.”
