L-R: Owner, Tomasso Bare serves an incredibly delicious menu item, Chicken Florentine.
One bite of the food you’re served at Toscana Italian Restaurant and you’ll know he’s right. Owner, Tomasso Bare proudly affirms that each item is prepared with fresh ingredients and made by the order.
This local establishment in Sapulpa has been preparing authentic Italian dishes for over eight months. Bare insists upon preparing and serving only the freshest food while boasting that you won’t find a microwave in his restaurant.
Growing up in a family of three generations of restaurateurs, Bare specializes in quality food preparation.
Bare insists on excellence in food preparation. All entrees are family priced. “For the price, quantity and quality we prepare and serve, we’re unmatched,” he states.
The menu features authentic Italian dishes rich with uniquely blended ingredients. A review of the menu, combined with the fragrances flowing from the kitchen in the quaint atmosphere, entices you with an appetizing array of meal choices.
Serving to Toscana’s taste qualities is the culinary genius of Chef Freddy. He and Bare have been associated for seven years.
Toscana’s Chef Freddy prepared food for many years in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, California. “He’s cooked for several celebrities in various 5-Star restaurants throughout Southern California,” Bare shares.
The most popular and best selling menu item at Toscana actually shares the Chef’s name; it’s known as “The Freddy Special”. This incredible, sautéed chicken dish is served on a generous portion of linguine smothered in a creamy sauce featuring a blend of red and green peppers, onion, bits of garlic and mushrooms.
Accompanying each order is a basket of Toscana prepared, freshly baked garlic rolls, glistening with butter. In addition to the rolls you’re served a side salad with a choice of dressings including the highly recommended “House Italian Dressing”; that’s a blend of oils and spices you’ll definitely want to taste.
You will understand why Bare consistently and rightfully boasts of his food’s quality when you dine at Toscana. “Quality is vital to us,” he affirms while adding, “Chef Freddy is quite picky; he will not allow an order to leave the kitchen if it’s not taste worthy or a serving he doesn’t have confidence in,” Bare explains.
The lack of a restaurant featuring Italian dishes in Sapulpa prompted Bare to see the market potential. Though Toscana is established there, many customers from Sand Springs, Tulsa, Bixby, Glenpool, Jenks and Broken Arrow have discovered this relatively new dining location and return.
Lunch specials are featured daily from 11 a.m. to
4 p.m. with each including fresh garlic bread and a side salad. The dinner specials allow Bare to introduce various authentic dishes certain to keep customers returning again and again.
Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday. The restaurant is closed on Monday.
