AVB Bank proudly announces the hiring of Jim Myers as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender. Myers has several years of banking experience, extensive in all facets of lending, portfolio management and relationship development.
AVB Bank President and CEO, Ted Cundiff, stated, “The addition of Jim is great for AVB. He is an experienced lender with savvy business acumen, and he is going to continue to help this bank pursue our goals and succeed along side the communities we serve.” Cundiff continued, “AVB has a rich culture we wish to continually develop, along with the people here at AVB. Myers fits the culture well, and is going to be a great asset for us moving forward. We are very pleased to have him.”

Myers grew up in Inola, Oklahoma. He went to Claremore High School before attending Oklahoma State University (OSU), earning his Bachelors Degree in Business.  Jim and his wife, Sarah, live in Broken Arrow.


Ted Cundiff, AVB Bank President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), proudly announced the hiring of Jody Manning and his election to the position of Executive Vice President, Finance.  Manning will serve on the Bank’s Executive Management Team.
Manning has over 20-years experience in the financial industry, as both a controller and auditor.
Cundiff  stated, “The addition of Jody and his extensive financial knowledge is key to AVB’s strategic growth, both immediate and long-term.”  Cundiff added, “Jody’s comprehension of  audit and background as a financial controller will significantly assist us in moving forward with the Bank’s financial initiatives.  We are glad to have him join our AVB team.”

“I’m excited for the opportunity to work at a bank so deeply rooted in state history, serving the community through innovative banking solutions and traditional personal service,” said Manning.  “AVB demonstrates a unique blend of the traditional customer experience of banking, along with the ever-changing world of ‘on-the-go’ banking services.”  He continued, “I feel fortunate to be a part of an organization that embraces both its roots and its future.”


Manning went to McAlister High School before attending Oklahoma Baptist University, where he received his Bachelors in Accounting.  Since 2012, he has served as a board member of the Oklahoma Accountancy Board.  Manning and his family reside in Tulsa.
