During an evening of moonlight, there will be wine flowing amid the scent of roses when Tulsa Garden Center presents their annual fall fundraiser, An Evening of Wine & Roses. This unique event will be held in the Tulsa Municipal Rose Garden on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m.
    An Evening of Wine & Roses is the combination of delectable food and exquisite wine enjoyed under the stars while strolling through a garden full of gorgeous fragrant roses. As one of the region’s largest wine tasting events, guests will enjoy over 150 different wines from around the world complemented by sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and desserts from more than 35 of Tulsa’s top restaurants and caterers. Participants will enjoy a wine pull, photo booth, and the opportunity to win a diamond necklace provided by Moody’s Jewelry. Make this romantic enchanting evening yours. Tickets for An Evening of Wine & Roses are $60 for Tulsa Garden Center members and $75 for non-members.
    Prior to the main event a private Sponsor Tasting will be held in the Tulsa Garden Center Mansion from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sponsors will savor exceptional wines from premium vintners and luscious fare from Tulsa’s top chefs. Individual sponsor  level tickets are $125 or 10 tickets for $1,000. The Garden Party is also included in the price of the Sponsor ticket. Entry to the Sponsor Tasting, the Garden Party, and a reserved table for 10 in the garden can be ­purchased for $1,500.     Wine participants include: Dynamic Brands, Inc., E & J Gallo Winery, Glazer’s Oklahoma, Oak Hills Winery & Vineyard, Paragon Brands, Premium Brands Wine & Spirits, Putnam Wines, Republic National Distributing Company, Select Wines & Spirits, Stable Ridge Winery, Stone Bluff Cellars, Summerside Vineyards, Thirst Wine Merchants, Whispering Vines Vineyards & Winery, and Woods & Waters Winery.

    Reservations are required for this popular event and space is limited. Reservation deadline is September 23, so call soon! Attendees must be 21 years or older. Proof of age is required.
