Now available are the 11th edition Downtown Tulsa Unlimited ornaments.
Each year, Downtown Tulsa Unlimited produces a collectible downtown ornament. And currently available is the 2007 edition. In the spirit of celebrating Oklahoma’s 100 years of statehood, the 11th edition ornament depicts the Oklahoma Centennial Extravaganza firework display over the downtown Tulsa skyline.
The limited edition ornaments are made exclusively for Downtown Tulsa Unlimited by The Charleston Mint. Each ornament is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. While the ornaments are brass with a 24-karat gold overlay, the 2007 ornament is the first in the series to feature color. The fireworks that lit up the downtown sky are depicted in hand-baked, enamel colors.
“The 2007 Downtown Tulsa ornaments are a must-have,” says Heather Pingry, director of promotions and communications for Downtown Tulsa Unlimited. “In addition to being a wonderful holiday collectible, the ornaments make great stocking stuffers and corporate gifts, especially for downtown employees. They can also be a great way to say thank you.”
Like previous editions, the 2007 ornaments can be purchased from Downtown Tulsa Unlimited’s office at 321 S. Boston Ave., Suite 101. They can also be purchased at Tulsa Treasures, located at 411 E. 11th St. Ornaments are only $17 with sales tax included, and stands are available for $4. Proceeds from the sale of the ornaments benefit promotions in an effort to make downtown Tulsa a great place to live, work and play.
