Suburban Chevrolet, located on Route 66 in Claremore, has served Rogers County for over 50 years. Now they’re raising the bar on customer service, auto service and maintenance.

“We’re Green Country’s oldest and most trusted Chevy dealer,” says Tim Kirk, Suburban Chevrolet’s new general manager. He has over 20 years of experience in the auto industry. “In a time when many dealerships are being bought up by big conglomerates, we take pride in being locally owned, and in the support we give to the community. And we’re on a quest to give you better customer service. We’re working to make it easier for you to do business with us. We’re looking to make customers for life, and so we’re listening to our customers’ requests. We’ll do whatever it takes.”

One response to popular demand is that Suburban Chevrolet is now open on Saturdays. “We offer all the same services on Saturday that we do during the week, including the vehicle loaner program and our free shuttle service all over Rogers County,” says Kirk.

GM is striving to be strong in repair and maintenance, not just in selling cars, says Kirk, and Suburban Chevrolet is running with that concept. Service Manager D. L. Bagwell has been in the auto industry since 1974. He has two service advisors, Sherman Miller and David Brock, who have over 20 years of experience each. “They’ll take care of all your needs and answer all your questions,” says Bagwell. “And we have a great staff of ASE-certified mechanics.”

Suburban Chevrolet is working to counter the misconception that for auto service, a dealer is higher-priced. “We go out of our way to be competitive in our area,” says Kirk. “We do regular price checks on our competitors for service, and we price-match.”

“If you go to an auto shop, you’ll get a warranty on the part, but you’ll be out the labor,” says Bagwell. “We guarantee both the part and the labor. All GM parts come with a 12-month, 12,000 mile parts and labor warranty, and many parts have a lifetime warranty.” And a GM warranty is good at any GM dealer nationwide, so if, say, you run into trouble while you’re on vacation, you’re covered.

“We can service your car bumper to bumper and take care of all your maintenance needs, including your oil changes, tires and brakes,” says Bagwell. “We have everything here but a body shop. And we can service other makes and models, not just GM cars. We have a number of great service specials, and a comfortable service lounge with free Wi-Fi. When your car needs maintenance, we want to be your first thought.”

Another part of auto maintenance you might not associate with a dealership is tires. “We offer all the services that tire shops do, including free rotation and flat repair,” says Kirk. “GM has a new tire program, and with GM’s buying power and national volume, you can get huge direct savings on top quality name-brand tires.”

Suburban Chevrolet is open for sales Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and their service and parts department is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and now available on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, or to schedule service, visit www.claremorechevy.com.
