Creative Garden Classes for Kids

The Tulsa Garden Center is adding a new class to its ­children’s curriculum. ‘The Creative Garden’ will offer ­children an exciting way to learn about nature while using their imaginations and spending time outdoors.

The class, which will be offered once a month through November, will consist of ­different lessons each month, each of which teaches children about a different aspect of nature.

Each child will receive an artist’s apron and all the ­supplies for each class with the one-time enrollment fee of $25. Individual classes will be $15 for members and $25 for non-members.

The first three classes are set for July 23, August 13 and September 17. Classes begin at 1:30 p.m. and end at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
