Although American Heritage Bank opened the doors of its new Tulsa branch at 71st Street and South Union last August, its grand opening was held November 16. Unique about the new branch is not just its state-of-the-art amenities but the U.S. Postal Services located in the lobby. A timesaving convenience, American Heritage Bank’s latest addition gives its customers banking and postal services in one location.

Before the branch opened, most of the new branch’s employees underwent an extensive two-week training program conducted by U.S. Postal Services employees. “We wanted to ensure that we were well trained and educated on products and services offered by the U.S. Postal Service,” says Stacy White, personal banker and manager of the postal services operation at the bank. Three employees, including White, also received additional one-on-one training.

As new employees join the American Heritage Bank team, they are each trained in order to assist customers with their post office needs. “Our operation has exceeded expectations with the number of area residents using American Heritage Bank for both their banking and postal errands,” White adds.

According to White, word-of-mouth advertising is bringing new customers to the new branch each week. “Many people who drive through our intersection every day have stopped in just to check out the new facility,” she says. “They then discover the U.S. Postal Services located in our lobby, and the light bulb comes on. They really like the convenience of having both their bank and post office in one location, and they like the courtesy and friendliness of our staff. Customers have been pleased with the way we operate, and many open banking accounts with us.”

All bank employees are trained to provide full post office services.

American Heritage Bank’s post office offers complete services, including: stamps, return receipts, Certified Mail™, Signature Confirmation™, First-Class Mail®, Priority Mail® and all associated supplies, Express Mail®, mail insurance, envelopes, packing and shipping materials, change-of-address forms and much more.

American Heritage Bank has a reputation of innovation. It offers the latest and finest in products and services for business and personal banking needs. The bank strives to offer the latest in banking operations to provide the most convenience for its customers.

Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The lobby is closed on Saturday. Mail goes out daily at 4 p.m. inside the bank, and mail in the collection box in the drive-through is collected at 1:15 p.m. daily.
