Dr. Kyle Hrdlicka and his sister, Leslie Cohen, have joined forces to combine the Vascular and Vein Laser Center, Ideal Skin Solutions and Fitness Time for Ladies.
Advancements in aesthetic medicine have provided women with a way to smooth wrinkles, tighten skin and look younger. However, exercise is still a very necessary ingredient in a healthy lifestyle. Some who exercise may be in great shape physically, but have damaged skin from sun exposure, medications or other environmental issues. The best plan for a healthy body and attractive skin is a combination of proper nutrition, good skincare, regular exercise, and the occasional aesthetic procedure to fix those areas that need an extra boost.
The good news for Claremore and the surrounding area is that Dr. Kyle Hrdlicka and his sister, Leslie Cohen, have now joined forces to combine the Vascular and Vein Laser Center, Ideal Skin Solutions and Fitness Time for Ladies.
Vascular and Vein Laser Center offers laser and surgical services to diagnose and treat venous disease using the newest procedures available. Ideal Skin Solutions offers services including laser hair reduction and skin resurfacing, Alma Harmony, a multiplatform laser that does Photofacial, Botox, Juvederm and Latisse.
Fitness Time for Ladies is a ladies-only workout facility that opened 2 years ago, and Dr. Hrdlicka felt the medical practice and fitness center would complement each other perfectly. When it recently became available, Dr. Hrdlicka and his sister Leslie Cohen took the opportunity to become business partners.
Leslie says she can relate to women who don’t want to go to a smelly old-fashioned gym. “I like my surroundings to be very clean, relaxing and pretty,” she smiles. “Working out at Fitness Time for Ladies provides a healthy escape from the stress of the day. The original owners did a beautiful job with the décor. Our goal is to offer a beautiful, yet comfortable place to be."
Fitness Time for Ladies offers all-inclusive memberships that start at just $40 per month, and no contract is required. Classes including body sculpting, step aerobics, kickboxing and total toning are available. If you prefer an individual workout, a library of exercise videos is on hand or you can bring your own and use the provided equipment. You also have the option of hiring one of the facility's private fitness trainers: Tami Rice, Phyllis Borgstrom and Regina Lorra. Members have a key pass that gives them 24/7 access, and the curbside parking is convenient and well-lit.
The beautifully decorated interior features a large equipment room and a mirrored classroom area. A traditional tanning bed and a stand-up tanning booth are available, as well as a selection of tanning lotions and enhancers for purchase. There is a dry-heat sauna and complete shower and dressing facilities with private lockers. A massage chair is tucked away in its own private nook to knead those sore muscles after a challenging session.
Fitness Time features Nautilus equipment, with individual television screens at each treadmill and a choice of cable channels or an on-screen view of the children’s play area. Little ones who accompany mom to the gym can enjoy this cozy room and play with a variety of toys and games.
Memberships make great gifts, and a new VIP Membership package is now available, which includes all the gym activities and the client’s choice of five treatments from the following menu: Pixel (laser skin resurfacing), laser hair reduction, laser skin tightening, spider vein treatment, or Photofacial. VIP members will also receive Juvederm, Latisse and Botox for highly reduced rates. The MD Forte’ skin care line will also be available for purchase at the Fitness Time office.
Fitness Time for Ladies caters to women with the combination of aesthetic services available through Dr. Hrdlicka, in addition to the fitness facilities and classes. In fact, a registered nurse will be performing many of the aesthetic services at the Fitness Time location. “It’s a great way for ladies to be able to see what some of these non-surgical procedures are about, in more of a spa surrounding, rather than a clinical setting,” explains Leslie.
Fitness Time for Ladies will host an Open House on Saturday, December 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dr. Hrdlicka will have the medical machines onsite, and he and his staff will answer questions and demonstrate treatments available. Cappuccino Corner will be catering the event, and gift certificates and memberships will be available.
Fitness Time for Ladies maintains office and tanning hours Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
