This holiday season, trade the hustle and bustle for the serene simplicity of a close-to-home escape brimming with activities. Imagine a magical drive-thru Lake Lights Trail coupled with intimate local shopping and dining experiences. Think of Claremore as a timeless country destination as your place for a dose of holiday cheer. It’s warm and inviting, filled with timeless traditions.

Trail of Lights at Claremore Lake

In 2021, Mary Taber with the City of Claremore had an idea to coordinate a magical holiday light trail at Claremore Lake. What began as a small idea to provide the community with its own Christmas light tour, has grown into 1 ½ miles of lights highlighting the Claremore Lake trail system. “The Trail of Lights has grown through the years with larger and more brilliant displays. Year over year, GRDA has been generous sponsor of this FREE event. They have made it possible for us to add more displays each year. It opens with LIGHTS ON November 26th thru January 6th; and it’s both walkable and drive-thru,” explains Mary.

Santa Cash

Through December 13, 2025, Santa Cash kicks off the season with a bang! By shopping at local Claremore participating businesses, you’ll not only be supporting the community but also entering to win big cash prizes. “Remember to shop local to get that Santa Cash tickets for a chance to win some money,” Maggie reminds everyone. To see participating Santa Cash businesses, check the Claremore Chamber of Commerce website, claremore.org.
