Celebrity Tribute Artists Come to Tulsa

Chris America specializes as the “Most Realistic Madonna Impersonator” in the industry nationwide. Madonna herself called Chris’ work a “good representation.” Chris is the only Madonna tribute artist to ever appear on “Oprah” and the cover of Esquire Magazine; other award-winning credentials include The White House, Madison Square Garden, Sirius Radio, Jay Leno, CNN, NBA’s Detroit Piston’s halftime entertainment and more. Chris America also headlined at the NYC 2008 Madonnathon as the opening act, held in honor of Madonna’s 50th birthday.

A new concert promoter, Entertainers In Concert, provides live entertainment showcasing celebrity tribute artist performers who transform themselves into well-known musicians, models, actors and comedians. Entertainers In Concert also features motivational speakers including successful entrepreneurs, politicians and professional athletes.

Entertainers in Concert’s inaugural performances will be held at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on June 4, 2011 at the Union Performing Arts Center-UPAC, 6636 S. Mingo Rd.

The 4 p.m. show will feature Elvis Presley, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, and Michael Jackson impersonators, with a special duet by Rod Stewart and Tina Turner. Performers at the 8 p.m. show will include Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Prince, along with a special appearance by Rod Stewart.

The next performances will be held July 23 at the UPAC. The 4 p.m. show will include Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Marilyn Monroe and Paul McCartney; the 8 p.m. show will feature Madonna, Elton John, Rod Stewart and Elvis Presley.

Joby Rogers was personally selected by Michael Jackson in a signed statement as the “Official Substitute.” Joby is the only impersonator to ever appear on the cover of “Rolling Stone Magazine.”

Doors open a half hour before each performance. A meet-and-greet with the tribute artists will be held during intermission.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. Entertainers In Concert will display your organization’s name on its website and acknowledge your company during concert events. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to area non-profit organizations to help develop and cultivate youth programs. Concert tickets may be purchased in advance at www.protix.com or at Reasor’s locations, Starship Records & Tapes, Budget Finance, and New York Fashions. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
