Brad and Gaylyn Shelton have helped sponsor Country Fever since its inception five years ago.

Route 66 RVs, located five miles north of Claremore on Highway 66, is once again helping to sponsor Oklahoma’s largest country music festival. Brad and Gaylyn Shelton, owners of Route 66 RVs, have sponsored the Country Fever Music Festival since its foundation five years ago. Now, in addition to Country Fever, the two will also sponsor the first-ever Rock Fever. The two productions have been identified as official 2007 Oklahoma Centennial events, celebrating the state’s 100 years of statehood.

The foot-stomping Country Fever Music Festival is scheduled for June 7 through 10 and will feature over 25 national and local country music artists, including Reba McIntyre, Big and Rich, Ronnie Milsap and Blake Shelton. Rock Fever will be held July 13 through 15 with confirmed appearances of Poison, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Slaughter, Y&T, Vince Neil, Dokken, Winger, Warrant, Firehouse, Enuff Z Nuff, Faster Pussycat, Bulletboys, Bang Tango, Jackyl, Great White and the LA Guns. Both events will be held at the Fever Campgrounds in Pryor.

Fans that purchase VIP packages for either event will receive free meals, beer, soft drinks and reserved seating for the occasion. Visit www.feverfest.com for ticket information for both events, as well as for directions to the campgrounds.

Route 66 RVs will again provide RV units to accommodate activities at both music festivals. Fans will be able to rent campers at both the Country Fever and Rock Fever concerts. Although “primitive” campsites will be available for a fee to those wishing to camp, they will have no electricity or water hookups. The grounds, however, will feature hot showers, fresh water and a 24-hour convenience store.

“On June 22 and 23, following Rock Fever, we will hold a demo sale at Route 66 RVs, which is located north of Claremore,” Brad says. “We will have huge price reductions on campers, allowing buyers to save thousands of dollars on their purchases. We will also be cooking up free hamburgers and hotdogs for those attending our spectacular sale.”

Route 66 RVs is part of the Route 66 RV Network. Featuring approximately 150 dealerships nationwide, the Route 66 RV Network is the largest RV network in North America. “Wherever the roads take you, you can count on us,” says Brad. Visit the Route 66 RVs website at www.route66rvs.com.
