It’s been more than a decade of bringing the world to Broken Arrow, and for the 2019-2020 Spotlight Series, returning favorites, Broadway hits and more fill the line-up.

The season kicks off with The Annie Moses Band November 10. They will bring their new show, “From Copland to Cash,” to the stage. The Annie Moses Band has been inspiring and entertaining audiences for over a decade, bringing their distinctive style of music across the U.S. and around the world. A captivating blend of folk and classical, the Annie Moses Band is a talented ensemble of songwriters, singers, musicians, and siblings combining technical skill with exhilarating showmanship. The Band’s innovative sound has delighted audiences in record-breaking numbers of airings on PBS and on stages as diverse as Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry.

This year’s bonus show is an instant classic! Emmy and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth comes back to her hometown for a magical evening of Yuletide carols and classics Dec. 20. Joining her is Grammy and Dove award winner Sandi Patty, whose connection to the holiday season spans several decades and more than half a dozen Christmas albums. This evening with two dynamic divas is not to be missed!

From Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning bestseller and Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-nominated film comes “The Color Purple,” the stage musical with a fresh, joyous score of jazz, ragtime, gospel and blues January 21, 2020. This stirring family chronicle follows the inspirational Celie as she journeys from childhood through joy and despair, anguish, and hope to discover the power of love and life. This Tony and Drama Desk award-winning musical has been graced with such talents as Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams and “American Idol” alums Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia Barrino.

Patrons won’t want to miss the group Voctave February 1, 2020. Voctave is an 11-member a cappella group from Central Florida formed in the winter of 2015. The voices that bring their artistic arrangements to life represent a wealth of diverse backgrounds and musical experiences. Group members have professional roots with Walt Disney World entertainment, but their range does not stop there. From gospel music to musical theater, contemporary Christian to barbershop, pop music to choral specialists, Voctave voices have covered it all both in and out of the a cappella realm.

An Oklahoma native with a world-class resume, Kelli O’Hara is making her Broken Arrow PAC debut Feb. 15, 2020. On Broadway, Kelli’s portrayal of Anna Leonowens in the revival of “The King and I” garnered her the 2015 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical. Other stage credits include “The Pajama Game,” “The Bridges of Madison County,” “South Pacific,” and her recent starring role in “Kiss Me, Kate.” Kelli received a 2018 Emmy nomination for her role in the hit web-series thriller “The Accidental Wolf” and appears in the second season of Netflix’s series “13 Reasons Why.” Other film and television credits include “Sex and the City 2” and “Masters of Sex.”

Known across the globe as “the ultimate feel-good show,” The Choir Of Man offers up 90 minutes of indisputable joy March 11, 2020! It’s a party. It’s a concert. It’s a pint-filled good time set in a working pub that combines hair-raising harmonies, high-energy dance and live percussion with foot-stomping choreography. The multitalented cast of nine handsome blokes sings everything – pub tunes, folk, Broadway, classic rock – all to roof-raising heights. It’s the best singing, dancing, stomping, pub crawl of a concert you’ll ever attend! Cheers!

The season closes out March 28, 2020, with the Broadway magical sensation, “Finding Neverland.” You will believe in magic and miracles – and that anyone (regardless of age) can dream of flying! Based on the Miramax motion picture by David Magee and the play “The Man Who Was Peter Pan” by Allan Knee, “Finding Neverland” follows the relationship between playwright J. M. Barrie and the family that inspired Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up – one of the most beloved stories of all time.
