Image Rehab Salon & Boutique is the first and only ladies fashion retail store in Catoosa. The business opened in September of last year and is also unique because it’s combined with a top-notch salon offering full styling services.

Image Rehab is truly a family affair. Owner Linda Lewis operates the boutique, while her daughter-in-law Ashley Lewis owns the salon. Her other daughter-in-law, Ashli (“Ash”) Lewis, is also a stylist at the salon.

According to Linda, many people associate high prices and snobbery with the word ‘boutique,’ but that is simply not the case at Image Rehab. “Our goal is to offer select fashions at the best price. We carry unique, trendy ladies clothing of all sizes at moderate prices. The average ticket item is around $22,” says Linda.

The chic selection at Image Rehab Boutique is similar to what you’d find at Affair of the Heart shows. “We have burnout tops, lace tanks and shirts, scarves, shrugs, women’s hats, embellished jeans, and rhinestone clothing – anything with bling,” says Linda. “We will soon start carrying more dresses for back to school, and later we plan to add children’s items.” The boutique also has a wonderful selection of handcrafted jewelry, purses and accessories. “We carry a lot of beautiful hair accessories and jewelry for weddings and proms.”

You can check out the boutique’s fashions and support the Catoosa High School cheerleaders at the same time by attending their Fashion Show fundraiser on Saturday, August 20 at the Catoosa High School Activity Center. The event will include food served by Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill from 6 to 7 p.m., and the show begins at 7. The Catoosa cheerleaders will get dolled up by Image Rehab Salon stylists and model the boutique fashions. Some amazing raffle prizes will be given away, including a one-night stay at Hard Rock Hotel and dinner for two at McGill’s, golf for two at Cherokee Hills Golf Course, and two concert tickets for The Joint. Several drawings will take place throughout the show for other miscellaneous prizes. Tickets are $10 in advance and may be pur- chased at the boutique or from the cheerleaders.

“Fashion is always what I wanted to do,” says Linda. “Ashley and I had talked about opening a boutique and salon together for a long time, and we were so excited when the opportunity arrived.”

The full-service salon has six stylists and an esthetician. They offer a full range of hair services, including cuts, color, foiling, hair and feather extensions, thermal straighteners and perms, as well as facials, waxing, chemical peels, and make-up.

“All of the girls have known each other for a really long time,” says Ashley. “We love interacting with people and having fun.” Feather extensions are the latest in-style trend, and the salon offers semi-permanent or temporary clip styles. In addition, Image Rehab sells Bamboo Smooth Hair products by Alterna, which are not sold by any other salon in the area. “These all-natural organic products are amazing for your hair,” says Ashley.

Ashley is thrilled that she has been able to do what she loves for work for the past eight years. Her favorite part of the job is giving clients beautiful color with foils. She is also known for cutting the perfect bob.

Ashli “Ash” Lewis, attended Tulsa Tech and has been a stylist for three years. Ash enjoys foiling, and her specialty is haircutting, particularly men’s cuts.

Esthetician Kaycie Burrows specializes in skin, offering facials, chemical peels and all-body waxing. She also does makeup for weddings, proms and other special events, using all M•A•C Cosmetics. She will return to school this fall to study hairstyling in order to extend her services at the salon.

Stylist April Findley has been doing hair for 13 years and focuses on funky styles and colors, as well as hair extensions. “Extensions can last up to six months,” says April.

Brittany Morris has been doing hair for a year. “I like everything about my job, especially working with people,” she says.

Heather Hawkins has been a stylist for eight years and enjoys doing color and foils. Heather also applies thermal hair straighteners, which permanently keep even the curliest hair straight, until the hair grows out.

Lacie O’Dell has been a stylist for four years. She really enjoys foiling and up-dos, and her favorite part of her work is interacting with all the different people.

The salon, like the boutique, has comparable - if not better - prices than competitors. You can make it easy by calling for an appointment, but walk-ins are always welcomed.

Image Rehab Salon & Boutique is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays, and open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. all other days. Check out their website at www.ImageRehabTulsa.com or “like” them on Facebook.
