Chalk It Up returns to the Rose District on September 11-12, and applications are officially open for artists, performers, vendors, and food trucks to be part of one of the area's most colorful community celebrations.

What is Chalk It Up?

For one incredible weekend, downtown transforms into a giant outdoor canvas as more than 50 artists of all ages create stunning chalk masterpieces right on the streets, competing for cash prizes and community bragging rights. Thousands of visitors come to watch the artwork take shape while enjoying local art, live entertainment, delicious food, family activities, and the creative energy that fills every corner of the district.
