Toran Ballone, Jim Carroll and Bill Westlund display Hanke Home Improvement’s leaf-free gutter system.
Tulsa’s Hanke Home Improvement is a branch of Hanke Brothers Siding and Windows, Inc. Based out of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Hanke Brothers has additional offices in Fayetteville and Jonesboro. The company has been in business since 1977 and reports over 100,000 happy customers in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. Customers are so satisfied with Hanke services that half of the family-owned company’s business comes from referrals. Kim Hanke is the second-generation owner.
Hanke Home Improvement’s Tulsa office has been open since November 2006. “We’re happy to be in Green Country,” says Bill “Radio” Westlund, general manager of the Tulsa office. Westlund has over 28 years of experience in home improvement. Known for his unmistakable voice, Westlund has also worked as the public address announcer for the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and Minnesota Timberwolves. He can still be heard in radio commercials and at Tulsa 66ers games.
Hanke Home Improvement offers many home improvement services, including installation of energy-efficient windows and doors. Like all Hanke services, they come with a transferable lifetime guarantee. “We really do stick with that,” says Westlund. “If a kid throws a baseball through your window, we’ll come fix it free of charge.” All Hanke installers are insured and factory-trained.
Additionally, Hanke offers leaf-free gutters that never need to be cleaned. They come with a lifetime no-clog guarantee. If the gutters ever do clog, Hanke will clean them for free. “We haven’t had to do one yet,” says Westlund. Hanke also offers no-clog gutter toppers, which attach to existing gutters. Hanke can match these covers to the color of your gutters, saving customers time and money.
The one-day bathroom remodeling system is a Hanke specialty. Mold is taken of your tub or shower, and a quarter-inch-thick acrylic liner is created to cover the existing tub or shower. Each Hanke liner is custom-built for the perfect fit. “There have been 650 styles of tubs and showers built in the last 80 years, and we can fit them all,” Westlund says.
Tub-to-shower conversions are another popular service of Hanke Home Improvement. Handicap-accessible tubs and showers can be made by Hanke. Each tub and shower is built to the customer’s specifications. Installation often only takes one day with no tear-out and no mess. Bath work is guaranteed never to mildew or warp, and they will never need to be scrubbed.
Hanke home Improvement offers a reverse mortgage service for homeowners ages 62 and over. “A reverse mortgage allows homeowners access to the equity in their homes,” says Jim Carroll, Hanke’s reverse mortgage loan officer, certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. “I’m doing that myself, even as we speak.”
There is no showroom at Hanke Home Improvement. “A showroom costs money,” says Toran Ballone, senior home improvement consultant and a native Tulsan with over 20 years of experience in home improvement. “We save money by not having one, and we pass those savings along to our customers.” Hanke Home Improvement is more than happy to come to your house for a no-obligation estimate. “We’ll bring the showroom to your home,” promises Westlund.
Hanke Brothers is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas. Second-generation owner Kim Hanke is on the Board of Directors for the Arkansas BBB. Hanke Brothers provides such quality work that the company has been contracted to do guttering, siding and windows for the Arkansas BBB building.
Hanke offers a compete analysis of your home absolutely free of charge or obligation. Hanke Home Improvement, located at 11331 E. 20th St. in Tulsa, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit Hanke Brothers online at www.hankebrothers.com.
