Elizabeth Berry was promoted to the Branch Manager of American Heritage Bank, located at 71st Street and Highway 75 in South Tulsa. Ms. Berry grew up in Sapulpa and has worked at American Heritage Bank on and off since high school. She returned to the main bank in Sapulpa in January of 2010 after being employed at another Tulsa area bank for three years.

Some of Ms. Berry’s skills and expertise include commercial, consumer, and mortgage lending, credit analysis, commercial banking, and customer service. Her education includes a Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma State University, the ICBA Commercial Lending Institute, and numerous Oklahoma Bankers Association classes. She has also been civically active with Planned Parenthood, Goodwill, Leadership Tulsa and the United Way.

Elizabeth is highly qualified, very personable and is thrilled to be a part of the bank’s Tulsa branch. “It’s a good feeling to be with a bank which focuses on its employees and communities. It is great to be a part of such a professional team!” She gives much credit to Brian Talkington, Casey Ballard and Barbara Pinkston, who are dedicated and professional bankers and help keep the branch running efficiently.

American Heritage Bank is one of the oldest independently owned and operated banks in Oklahoma. In late 2012 they acquired Osage Federal Bank and The Cleveland Bank, and have expanded their operations to serve 15 communities in Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Payne, Tulsa and Washington Counties, with 19 locations total. Since 1905, they have focused on providing their customers with the products, services and individualized attention they want and deserve. “We’re proud to be a community bank that has a reputation for investing in our communities,” added Berry. “We also do our best to tailor our services to the needs of our neighbors.”

American Heritage Bank is a full service banking institution offering a wide array of personal and business banking products with competitive pricing and competitive rates.    “American Heritage Bank has stuck to its core values from the beginning,” said Elizabeth. “The bank has seen some tough times through several wars, the Great Depression, and a multitude of economic crises, but has survived to remain the responsible, reliable institution it has always been because of those values.”

“We are also proud to house a full service US Post Office inside our branch, in addition to our regular services. Avoid long holiday lines and get your banking and postal errands done in one place! We would love to see you,” said Elizabeth.

Their lobby hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and drive-thru hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to noon. Come in and say “hello” to Ms. Elizabeth Berry and the team at the Tulsa branch.
