September 2018
They say good things come to those who wait, and never has this been more accurate than of The Gathering Place coming to Tulsa! The wait is over with the much-anticipated Grand Opening on September 8, 2018.
Nearly 65 acres of scenic waterfront on the iconic Arkansas River has been transformed into a dynamic, interactive environment for everyone to enjoy in Phase I of development. This dazzling destination promises to draw millions from far and near as a place to explore, learn, and play. The park will offer amazing attractions and dining options, as well as world-class programming for all ages with no entry fee.
Unlike any other place in the world, The Gathering Place offers something for everyone, with copious amounts of beauty, enchantment, and wonder. Multiple destinations within the park will cater to the whims of all, including sports courts, skate park, gardens, and recreation lawns. The Chapman Adventure Playground will amaze and charm everyone with its inventive climbing structures and slides, as well as floating pathways, cradle swings, and more. Other magical highlights include:
Williams Lodge – Visitors can find restrooms, a café, and lounge space.
OneOk Boathouse and Peggy’s Pond – Guests can enjoy an elegant dinner at the Boathouse Restaurant, and for a peaceful day on the pond, paddle boats, kayaks, or canoes are available!
Mist Mountain – An aquatic adventure with interactive water fountains, water cannons, mist areas, and a water maze!
Slide Valley – 4 awe-inspiring slides can be found, including the underground Rabbit Hole!
Swing Hill - Adventurers can experience pure exhilaration swinging up and down from the highest point in the park with breathtaking views!
There are so many remarkable things to see and do at The Gathering Place.
