Nearly half of all adults have losing weight on their New Year’s resolution list. But how likely is it you’ll stick to it? Making lifestyle changes isn’t easy, and many New Year’s resolutions don’t last.
But, finding a successful method and sticking to it has never been easier. The staff at BA Med Spa & Weight Loss Center has weight loss programs to fit an individual’s needs with proven results. The spa, located between 71st and 81st on Elm, uses extensive medical research along with your individual goals to develop a plan suited to help you achieve the results you’ve longed for.
Their most successful program is the HCG plan. “Most people are familiar with this plan, but we’ve fine-tuned it so patients will see results that stick,” says Malissa Spacek, managing partner and founder. “The process starts with a complimentary consultation where you discuss goals as well as challenges you’ve had before. “Weight loss is personal,” stresses Malissa, assuring that “We don’t judge. Holidays happen. We really care about our patients and how weight affects their lives, whether that is self-image or more energy needed for an active lifestyle.”
The plan starts with the creation of a balanced diet plan tailored to your individual needs.
From there, appetite suppressants and vitamins can be added. An exercise routine is also added to help balance the course for the utmost success. “HCG Medical Weight Loss is safe, natural, quick weight loss for men and women. It’s about a 40-day plan and most people see a 20 to 30 pound weight loss,” boasts Malissa. She adds that she’s even seen weight loss in the triple digits.

“Losing weight is enhanced by various treatments.  We tailor your plan to help you reach your weightloss goals.  One of the plans we offer uses a medication called Contrave.  It is a prescription-only FDA-approved weightloss medication that may help you lose weight and keep it off.

Contrave is believed to work on two important areas of the brain – your hunger center and your reward system – to reduce hunger and control cravings.  By adding Contrave to your weight-loss plan for a full year, you could lose approximately 2-4x more weight than with diet and exercise alone.  There are many factors to consider in a successful weightloss plan, and we will walk you through all your options.” said Malissa.
Of course maintenance is an important part of any plan. “We offer a free maintenance program and no appointments are needed. You can walk in and talk to our staff about any challenges you might face. We can look at adding vitamins to your routine or even suggest new recipes to keep your new healthy lifestyle in check,” says Malissa.
With so many weight loss programs on the market, Malissa says their personalized service and dedication to finding “just the right staff” are what helps with their happy clientele. “We don’t want you to feel rushed, or that this is an approach where one size fits all. We just want people to enjoy their new healthy lives and we’ll do what it takes to make that happen.”
The spa also offers other services that boost your new healthy look. The most popular service used in conjunction with the HCG plan is CoolSculpting. “Once you’ve lost weight and there are a few stubborn areas that still bother you, CoolSculpting is the perfect solution,” suggests Malissa. The sculpting has a 20-25 percent fat reduction success rate in as little as two treatments.

Whatever your goals for the New Year are, stop by BA Med Spa & Weight Loss Center and talk to one of their staff members about how they can assist you. Hours for the spa are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The spa is also open during lunch time for your convenience.
Next month, the spa is moving to a new location just down the street. “If it’s been a while since you visited us, you should come by and see our new space. We are constantly evolving by offering the latest in technological and medical techniques and our new space will be twice as big to help focus on the needs of the customers,” said Malissa.
Why wait? Here’s to a new you for the New Year!
