Kids See Free.

September 6, 2019 | 1 - 5 p.m.

TULSA, Okla.,(Sept. 6,2019) – For one day only, Harrel Eyecare’s location at 45th & Harvard is offering free eye exams and glasses for Tulsa area children on Sept. 6, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This marks the first year for the Tulsa area optometrist to host its Kids See Free event for the community. Monte Harrel, CEO, and optometrist at Harrel Eyecare says developmental eye exams should be an important part of the back-to-school checklist. “More than one in four children have problems reading.” Harrel says. It’s important for children to get their eyes examined every year.” No appointment is necessary. Parents can bring their children to the 45th & Harvard location, and no appointment is necessary. Parents are asked to bring a photo ID and any vision or medical insurance cards if applicable. Patient forms can be printed from their website and brought to the visit or filled out on site. This is the first year for Harrel Eyecare to host this event for children from ages 1 - 17 years old. Each year there are many children that have to start their school year without the glasses they need. “We’re happy to do our part and give back to the community,” Harrel says. “We’ve always focused on helping kids succeed and our team is excited about the event.” For more information on please contact Brooke Caruso at 918-745-9662 or eat1@eau1eav1eaw1.
