We are a fashion forward boutique with trendy and classic clothing appropriate for all ages at affordable prices. We also offer unique gifts and we have a huge assortment of cards for any occasion! Like its name, originally Nesting Necessities and Boutique, the store has evolved over the years until owner Cari Bohannon purchased the building across the street from the first location. The District on Main is not your average boutique; you’ll find it is more of a lifestyle liaison. Located in the heart of the historical and happening downtown Claremore, Cari is committed to bringing her customers something truly unique with something for everyone. The shop boasts a massive selection of jeans also keeping up with the latest styles. Sizes range in misses extra-small to extra-large, with some plus sizes available. While fashion is a primary purpose for customers returning time and again, the picturesque shop on Will Rogers Boulevard has an expansive variety of items in addition to clothing: jewelry, home decor, Volcano brand candles and products, Finchberry vegan soaps, locally made goat milk soaps, novelty socks, and of course, a collection of both OU and OSU items sure to please fans. Gift options and inspirations are plentiful at The District, whether for someone special or yourself. An incredible selection of self-care items can be found, including aromatherapy, special handmade soaps, self-care items, and tons of décor and collectibles. Many of the items available in-store are “give-back” products, in that each purchase provides a charitable contribution to the brand’s specific cause. Some of the participating brands include PureVida, Nora Fleming, Blue Planet Sunglasses, Bitchstix Lipbalms and many more. Much of the merchandise found in the boutique is unique to the area and can only be found at The District. Truly remarkable is the largest selection in the state of Kendra Scott Jewelry. The super trendy pieces are always a hot item while maintaining a timeless appeal. A massive collection of Brighton jewelry and handbags are also available. Brighton is recognized for artistry and quality, and unlike most brands, offers warranties on their merchandise. From sending flowers to a customer after a surgery, to serving on committees at SafeNet and supporting Claremore High School pantry food drive, Cari uses the store as a platform for giving back to her community and fostering friendships with her customers. Her favorite part of owning the store is waiting on customers. Her goal is for every customer to feel confident in their clothing and eliminate “buyers remorse” by investing her time and honesty into each customer as they shop and try on outfits.
