When shopping for shutters, blinds or shades, why go into someone’s business place and view samples under their lighting conditions, their color schemes and their surroundings?
The Louver Shop of Tulsa offers in-home or office consultations so you can see the window coverings in your space with all the things that are important to you. For over 40 years The Louver Shop has been offering window treatments of all types in 30 states. Now, Susan Cram is proud to open The Louver Shop of Tulsa, backed by the myriad of resources available in the home office. Upon returning from headquarters recently, Susan expressed amazement at the attention to detail and commitment to excellence from everyone in the plant to the customer support desk.

In a three decade long career in sales, Susan garnered numerous awards, which she attributes to her constant striving for 100 percent customer satisfaction. Her experience remodeling and decorating nine homes of her own, from new builds to her current 1929 Tudor in midtown, as well as a previous home flooring business, paved the way to her venture with The Louver Shop.
The Georgia-based company specializes in shutters of all sizes, shapes and colors. Shutters are very practical. They do not deteriorate like other coverings. They are child safe, with no cords. They have curb appeal and look good inside and out, and they can be energy efficient to save on heating and cooling costs.

“A lot of people think shutters are cost prohibitive, but that is not so,” Susan explains. The Louver Shop has manufacturing and delivery down to a science. All shutters are custom manufactured in The Louver Shop’s Georgia plant. Since all the parts are American-made, there is no matching of specifications from different countries. The only specifications are what the customer wants. There is even a specialty department that is capable of making shutters to fit any shape, from arches to octagons.

Every shutter is built with a patented tension system that is good for the life of the shutter, and will never need to be adjusted. Their furniture grade dowels are much thicker than many other shutter companies use, and they will keep the shutter panels square and level for as long as they are in your home or office. The frames have light blocks, so that light does not leak through the gaps in the stiles and the frames.

Whether a customer chooses a North American hardwood shutter or an inert polymer material that looks and feels like wood, each shutter opening passes through the hands of six inspectors before it leaves the plant. The quality is in the details, and that is what makes The Louver Shop products exceptional.

The Louver Shop also runs its own trucks and manages its own distribution to ensure the speediest delivery in the business. A professional installer then promptly transforms windows.
There are lots of other options besides shutters. “We have something for all needs and appearances,” Susan adds, noting that some choices can be built with operating systems controlled from a phone or remote. “It can be as sophisticated or as simple as the customer needs.”

Wood and faux wood blinds are also attractive options. New sheers make it possible to see out while others cannot see in. And those vertical blinds from 30 years ago have been transformed into vertical slide drapes from a wide range of fabric choices.

Susan can show you samples and help you make the right choice, whether you need window coverings for a room, the front of your house, or your entire house. New or remodel, large budget or small, it does not matter. You will get the same prompt and courteous attention. Susan is available for no-obligation appointments in Tulsa and all surrounding communities.
