Goodwill Fall Job Fair

The annual job fair takes place Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Goodwill Industries of Tulsa will host its annual Fall Job Fair on Thursday, October 2, 2014, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The job fair will be held in the South Annex of Goodwill Industries of Tulsa’s main facility at 2800 Southwest Blvd.
More than 30 companies and social service agencies will be participating. “On the spot” interviewing will be available with some companies.
In addition, Goodwill Job Connection personnel will be available with information regarding job leads and job search resources within the Tulsa community and surrounding areas, as well as job search assistance, such as resume development, interview enhancement, e-mail and online job application assistance, and general information to help job seekers find where the jobs are and how to apply to them.
Goodwill TulsaWORKS case managers will be available with information and resources about career advancement for women, as well as information regarding skills training through a variety of courses, including Life Skills, Employment Essentials, A+ Certification Training, Workplace Computers Skills, Forklift and Material Handling Operations, and Private Security.
Goodwill Industries Human Resources personnel will be available to take applications for employment in a variety of positions at Goodwill locations in the Tulsa community and surrounding areas.
Computers will be available on-site for applying online to participating companies. Staff will be on hand to assist applicants; however, basic computer skills are required to complete online applications.
Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day and snacks will be provided.
