The ultimate ladies day out will return Saturday, March 26 with the 6th annual Claremore Women’s Expo, “Ladies Lifestyle Extravaganza.” The event takes place at the Claremore Expo Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will focus on the things that are important to women – their hobbies, health and wellness issues, money management and more. The extravaganza will feature shopping opportunities, giveaways, cooking demonstrations, health seminars, and door prizes. Admission is $3 per person or $1 with donation of a nonperishable food item, to be donated to a local food pantry.

The Claremore Chamber of Commerce and Claremore Main Street have teamed up to coordinate this day-long venue designed to provide the products, services and information women need and want to make their lives more efficient, more productive, and happier. Ladies will find something valuable for their lives regardless of their age or circumstances; this expo is for college students and recent graduates, career women, single and married women, brides-to-be and newlyweds, mothers, empty-nesters and retirees.

The Ladies Lifestyle Extravaganza will feature an appearance by special guest Amber England, certified personal trainer and owner of Sweat OKC. Amber will share her personal weight loss story of losing 100 pounds. She credits sweating it out in the gym as the catalyst that transformed more than just her body. Through achieving her fitness goals, she found her personal power and strength outside the gym. Amber has trained with “The Biggest Loser” star Jillian Michaels and has been featured in national magazines.

The women’s expo will also host the Oklahoma Preliminary of the America’s Girl Pageant, a natural pageant celebrating today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders. This pageant is for girls and boys ages 0-18. Contact Jessica Straley at (918) 440-6683 or eat0@eau0eav0eaw0 for more information or to preregister. Registrations will be taken at the door beginning at 9 a.m. The pageant will begin at 11:30 a.m.

The expo will feature a $500 cash drawing at 2:45 p.m., courtesy of Will Rogers Downs. Attendees can turn in their entry form at Will Rogers Downs' booth, which will be showcasing their banquet and reception facilities.

A ladies’ event simply wouldn’t be complete without tons of shopping opportunities to enjoy. Vendors from many women-owned businesses will feature arts and crafts, clothing and accessories, body products, home décor, gifts and much more.

The first 500 ladies in the door will receive an eco-reusable shopping bag. Parking is plentiful and free at the Claremore Expo Center, located at 400 Veterans Parkway.

Major sponsors of the Ladies Lifestyle Extravaganza are Claremore Regional Hospital and the Healthy Woman program, RCB Bank, Walmart, and Advanced Vision Center. A schedule of seminars will be available on the Claremore Chamber and Claremore Main Street websites, www.claremore.org and www.downtownclaremore.org.
