Safari’s annual Turtle Race
Participation is free with paid admission. Children can bring their own turtles, or they can rent a turtle for $5. (All money given to Safari’s goes directly back to caring for the animals.) “Turtles can be found everywhere this time of year,” said Frank. “One really good place to find them is the creek at 71st and Oak Grove Road in Broken Arrow.”

Free Open House
See the beginning of a world-class botanical garden just seven miles northwest of downtown Tulsa. Walk a 1 1/2 mile nature trail through an ancient forest and prairie and see the Oklahoma Centennial Botanical Garden\'s first landscaping project -- 300 trees and a walking path around our seven-acre lake. Hosts at the Visitor Center will show the Master Plan for 60 acres of gardens and answer your questions.
